KIDS PREFERRED World of Eric Carle, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Butterfly Reversible Stuffed Animal Plush Toy, 16",Green

I bought this in conjunction with 1 other "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" toy and the book for two nieces for Christmas. The live outside the United States, so it was exciting to send and share this with them. The plush is adorable and there is a zipper that opens up and you can flip and change the caterpillar to a butterfly just like the story in the book. I was really surprised by the great quality and also by the size. It is very substantial. Just perfect for our 3 and 5 year old nieces to enjoy as they read the book. What a fun visual addition.

Great stuffy for read along :) I’m only downside is the furry part gets stuck in the zipper sometimes. Quality is great, very colorful and super soft. My son loves it!

My 2 year old grandson loves this. So fun to play with and change from caterpillar to butterfly then back again!

Nice and fluffy, a good size, looks just like the Eric Carle Hungry Caterpillar. 20-month old nephew wouldn’t put it down!

It’s a nice toy to have for kids while reading the very hungry caterpillar book. Toy is engaging and with bright colors . Very soft and hard to manage for kids but I used most of the times to show the transformation so no big deal .

My nephew loves butterflies! Is there anything better to support his obsession than a very hungry caterpillar than this reversible stuffy? I submit that there is not! It's colorful and well made. He loved it! The only "complaint" I have is super minor - it's a little smaller than I'd imagined. Not a lot smaller, mind you. It's just that we already have another caterpillar/butterfly and it's about 1.5 times larger than this one so, for some reason, I presumed they'd be the same size.

My grandson loved this and kept asking us to turn it back and forth. Not easy to turn inside out. Toddler can't do it.

Our 18 month old granddaughter is smitten with her Hungry Caterpillar. It is one of her favourite stories right now and this beautiful stuffy topped off her joy. We have an adorable picture of her hugging her Caterpillar stuffy but I only posted these two to show how vibrant the colours really are!

You get what you pay for! I was a little hesitant to purchase this convertible toy, however I am so happy I did. It is beautifully made, with a very strong zip, vibrant colours, and quality material that look and feel wonderful. My daughter absolutely loves it and carries it around most of the day.

Don’t purchase!

Soooooo cool, I thought this would be pull the wings out and the same body is used but no, unzip the caterpillar and turn him through and push the caterpillar bits into the wings and zip it up and you have a whole butterfly with its own body and head and big wings. Just like the book and an excellent present for a Very Hungry Caterpillar fan who has more years than it is perhaps best to mention!!!
