Walden Farms Dip Calorie Free Chocolate, 12 oz

If I could give this a zero-star rating, I would. It is disgusting! The texture is weird-- very runny-- and there is almost no taste. What taste does come through is bitter and gross. I was so excited to get this, hoping it would be a fun treat to jazz up an apple or whatnot... but NOPE. It's nauseating! What's even worse is that I cannot get a refund through Amazon. Boo!!! Save yourselves the money and disappointment-- don't buy this product!

Doesn't taste like chocolate, was pretty bad. Runny and tasted kinda like tasteless gravy. Put in refrigerator thinking when it got cold it might be better. It wasn't so I threw it away. Awful, will not buy their products again.

Please realize that these products are calorie free, and you will have to be open minded about taste. If you are on a serious diet, and are really making an effort to cut out the foods that are needlessly using up your calories then you will appreciate how amazing these products are. I would describe this Chocolate dip as tasting like Chocolate pudding with a slightly bitter after taste. I don't even care about the after taste, I'm just so thrilled I get to guiltlessly spoon something that nearly tastes like pudding into my mouth. It tastes great in greek yogurt! I even dip celery sticks into it. I eat extremely clean, and I miss all the sugary foods I gave up to keep my bodyfat at an extremely low percentage for bodybuilding. If you are in the same boat, get a hold of these products, they will save you from losing your sanity or bingeing on the bad stuff!

This goo is disgusting. It’s a crime to refer to it as chocolate. I fully understand that when you’re on a no sugar diet, you have to get used to things tasting different but this is well beyond that. It has a gelatinous texture, smells horrendous, and upon tasting it, I gagged and had to spit it out. The goo coats your mouth and the flavor will not go away. I would much rather never eat sugar, chocolate or anything enjoyable again, than eat a spoon full of this. There is also no returns on this product. It seems as though they know it’s horrible and make no way for you to get a refund. The only good use for this product is to feed it to people as a cruel prank.

IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD! Walden Farms products are hit and miss for me. But one thing that I actually was able to enjoy with my breakfast strawberries was the chocolate DIP, the OLD recipe with the black label. I have been buying that for 18 months and while it was not delicious, you could tell it was a thick chocolate dip and it nicely complimented the berries. Well, they recently changed the recipe and IT. IS. DISGUSTING. The nastiest 'chocolate' (if you could even call it that) dip I have ever tried. If you took a cup of water and put some cocoa powder in it with couple of melted chocolate chips and said, 'yeah this is fine'. It's like chemically chocolate water, it's nasty. Walden needs to read this and go back to the drawing board on this dip because this new recipe IS NOT IT!!! I have 5 unopened jars and will be asking for a refund for all of them. (The old recipe is on the left in my pics, and the new is on the right. You can absolutely see they're different).

This product is not good - simply put. The smell and after taste - and frankly the before and during taste - is just not pleasant. The sweetness is very strange, it’s a bit citrusy? Not at all reminiscent of chocolate. I think the caramel one would have been a better choice for me. That being said I was excited for this, bought the two pack and some of the dressings as well and am very much regretting this purchase. It smells and tastes like a warehouse and gives me a headache and does not at all agree with my stomach. May work for some but I can’t imagine who.

Got it just in time to dip fresh strawberries. Yum! What's not to like about having chocolate! It's a dipping chocolate flavored sauce. My only negative is the texture is a little course for chocolate, but if you are a chocolaholic like me, being on a no sweets diet isn't fun. I'm impressed. Love the salad dressings they have as well.

I'm not picky when it comes to food and I understand that a zero calorie product cannot taste as good as a normal chocolate spread or sauce, but unlike other Walden Farms products that I tried, this chocolate dip is uneatable. It tasts like cocoa powder dissolved in water and vinegar. When I tried it pure, I had to spit it out. When I tried it on my vanilla ice cream, I could just barely swallow it without getting nauseated. The consistency is like that of evaporated milk, too liquid to distribute in a glass. It should come in a bottle, if at all. If you dip something in it, the substance will run right off. Walden Farms - back to the drawing board! Please redesign this product, take the vinager taste out and make it thicker.

Ich liebe Schokolade und weil ich ein wenig abnehmen wollte hab ich versucht eine Low Calorie Alternative zu finden. Da hab ich mir zwei Produkte (Peanutbutter und Chocolate) von Walden Farms bestellt. Beide überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert.

The previous version was good, it was thick and tasted like chocolate. This new one is liquid and has no taste. Actually, it tastes horrible. They ruined a good thing. Don’t waste your money on this. I wish I could return the product.
