Very utilitarian | Accommodates wide array of PCBA mounting | Good value
Summary / Observations: Purchased this box to house a custom PCBA for an indoor application. The clear top was ideal, since the status indicators on the PCB were visible, saving the work of remote mounting on an otherwise opaque lid. It appears to be a good value sturdy housing with convenient internal PCBA standoffs and external box mounting flanges. PROS 1. Sizing fits common breadboard and controller form factors. 2. Quantity and location of standoffs accommodates most PCBAs. 3. The standoffs accept #4 screws. 4. Clear top with sealing band for dust and moisture. CONS 1. Not clear if material meets UL94 H or V standards (flammability of plastics) 2. For wiring entry / exit from the base, the weatherproof fittings will consume valuable space. 3. The number of standoffs is a plus, but it is also a minus in that it reduces the usable real estate on the PCB. My layout had accommodate the additional clearances. 4. Indoor/outdoor use, but unclear if the material is UV resistant.

The plastic clear lid had a lot of imperfections. Otherwise works for what you need it for.

Sturdy Box
This is a great box for all sorts of projects. The plastic is sturdy, although it is not the softest type, so you have to be careful when drilling. The big clear front panel makes it easy to see what is going on, like checking for power lights on components. The only small critique I have is that there is a beveled rectangle pattern for some reason on the back. For weatherproofing, I like to put gaskets for through-holes only on flat surfaces, which can mean I have to put the holes out of the way of that bevel. Otherwise, an easy recommend.
