Mason Jar Lids - Decorative Canning Caps Fit Regular Mouth Mason Jars - Fruit Design - Pack of 6

I've used these canning lids for a couple of years now. I have not had any issues with the seals. I use them when I can apple butter as I often give it to friends and neighbors. The lids look so cute and everyone likes them. I will definitely be purchasing more. I wish they had wide mouth as those are mostly the type of jars I use.

I just canned 10 half pints of peach preserves with these lids to use as gifts. Everyone of them sealed. I've been canning successfully for years and here are a few tips I think may be helpful for those of you who've had problems: 1.) I simmer the jars, lids and bands in the simmering water of the canning pot for about 10 minutes ( I have a small kitchen and not alot of stove space). Then I fill, place the lids and screw the bands one jar at a time to ensure they are all very hot. Then i place the jars back in the simmering water, take it to a boil and time it from there. 2.) I usually process them a few minutes more than whats called for (I don't know my altitude...) 3.) Make sure the jar rims are wiped clean. 4.) Don't tighten the rings too tight as air needs to escape for a good seal. I usually have no problems. First time i used one piece lids so I was a bit skeptical but they all worked fine. One less step too!

Much easier to use than the two-piece lids for storage. You can can foods with these lids if you want. Of course, they are only good for one canning, just like the two-piece lids. I got them for storage, so they should last a very long time. They are airtight/leak-proof. Nice and colorful, too.

Easy and "snug" fit for wide mouth and regular Mason jars. It was tiring using the 2 separate lids on the jars after they were open; now I have multiple uses for the jars (foods, storage, etc.). Good purchase and good price! I especially like these lids because they have a rubber seal and liquids do not leak. I put them on jars of honey I gave as gifts.
