Must have adapter.
There was no leakage. This product worked as advertised and I would recommend it for anyone installing a mini split system. It’s not that hard to do and saves you a lot of money. Anyone with basic mechanical skills is capable of the task.

Single use, disposable valve
It worked. I got a 2 pack. The white plastic for the seal deforms with one use. The gasket isn’t rubber, it’s hard plastic. I used my first one, developed a leak in my system and had to recharge. So then I used the second. Valve functioned perfectly both times but deformed with one use both times. Fortunately, I’m done. Unless you’re using this multiple times, the practical reality is that this will do your job with no leaks or issues. May I could use them again (even with the deformed gasket) but for the price, I wouldn’t. 5 stars from me!

Needed accessory to connect vacuum pump to your mini-split
Worked great for evacuating my mini-split air conditioner. The adapters include two different seals -- white and green. My unit has R454 refrigerant, so the green seals worked.

They did leak one time but it was my fault. Good value for the price.

Also worked well on Mini Split System with R32
The thing I had to figure out is you have to use a valve stem tool to adjust the valve core depressor to the right amount of extension so it opens the valve when the fitting is tightened.
