Great PAIR of socks, but this is NOT a 3 pack. Dont be misled. Some colors are 3 packs, other colors are not. Prices are pretty much the same for the 3 pack or the pair. Great socks, poor seller.

I used to spend a small fortune on another highly touted brand of wool socks (the brand rhymes with fart school) that would consistently get holes in the heels and balls of feet after one season of winter wear. Never again! The Darn Toughs are literally the perfect wool sock, and the kid's size large fits a size 5.5-6 women's foot perfectly. Incidentally, I think the women's size small is just a smidge too large and prefer the fit of the kid's sizes, although I do miss the cuter women's patterns.

The photo accompanying this product said that the item was part of a three pack but I only received one pairs. $18 for one pair? Good socks but not worth that price.

I love, love, love these socks. I used to be a SmartWool fan, but these last so much better, and the kids are happy to wear them. They seem to hug their feet better, too, not slipping down into boots like some do. The only issue I've had at all is finding accurate sizing information.

I bought these for my son who is 5 after struggling with regular nylon/synthetic socks causing him problems with Athletes foot. They are amazing!!!! They do not make his feet smell or sweat at all, even after long days playing sports. They wash and dry well and are worth the expense.

Normally we have to fight with my son to wear socks at all; these are the first socks thay my son will wear all day, and want to wear them again the next day.

these socks fit my son's feet perfectly and can be worn with hiking boots as well as his regular shoes. they hold up extrmely well and i love the colors!
