An old design but useful and effective. Easy to use. A good addition to home medical supplies or first aid kit in the car.

I am upgrading our first aid kit and a lot of people recommended these sam splints. I really like how you can basically customize the splint to your specifics situation. Haven’t used this product yet, hope I never do, but it seems very nice.

I hope we never have to use these, but I feel better having them on hand in our hiking backpack first aid kit. I was expecting rolls, since that is how the singles look, but these arrive flat, packaged together in a 9.25" long, 4 1/8" wide and 1 5/8" high plastic wrapped bundle. The weight (with overwrap) is 7.8 oz.

I am an on-site medic at an outdoor entertainment center. I bought this set to add to my EMT pack and fortunately I have not had to use it. I am not usually into buying name brands "just cause" but I got these instead of the off-brands because my local fire department advised me to get these. I don't think they will last me more than 3 uses mainly due to the metal already starting to wear out the foam edges just from being tossed around in my bag, but it's not a major problem. If you travel frequently, enjoy backpacking, or cover events, these splints are perfect for securing almost any orthopedic injury and take up minimal space in your bag while being light weight.

These are original sam splints and the quality is great.
