In the technical details you put that the lifx are 120volts but in the lifx website they say that are 100-240 volts. can you please confirm this ?

You'll need something pretty open and with good ventilation. I use a couple of http://www.amazon.com/Hampton-Bay-Uplight-Floor-White/dp/B001BTI0TW/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1398479632 in my office - the white part of the image completely sticks out from the housing, so if you want to direct the light, that's not a good choice.

Is this compatible with Dimmers? Because i have a dimmer for my current LED lights so I was wondering if this might conflict or not

The app that controls the lifx bulb will dim the light but a wall switch dimmer is compatible. Personally I'd go with the Phillips Hue starter kit I have both and find Phillips to really function as you would like around the house. With Phillips and the IFTTT app the possibilities are endless. The lifx bulb is still not there yet even with the release of their updated app. Phillips I find is a better option.
