I hope I never have to use this key, but am happy to have added it to my emergency kit.

Seems like a good beefy sillcock. It's big. I had one a decade ago that was half the thickness and weight, but this thing is truly thick and heavy. I haven't had a chance to use it on any commercial/industrial/municipal building water outlets, but I've only had it a week and I'll get a chance to use it at a job soon. It's inevitable.

Pretty good price and seem to be pretty good quality. I own a striping business and sometimes we need to access the water from the facilities we work at, especially when installing signs and need to mix concrete. Have had them over a year easily and no issues. I love that they come with a chain so I can strap one on each of my striping machines and have a backup no matter what. Would definitely buy these again!

The handle came off of my outside spigot at some point when a contractor was working at my house. Instead of telling me about it or offering to fix it he just attached a pair of pliers to turn it on and off, which really didn’t work that great. A little research led me to this handy dandy item and, while I don’t think it’s really supposed to be a permanent replacement for the handle, it’s working very effectively as one right now! It attached securely to the little “nub” that I had been trying to manipulate with the pliers and made it where all I have to do is slip it on and twist it like a handle to turn the spigot on and off. A great temporary substitute! And it’s great that one item can be used with 4 different sized nubs. (Disclaimer: I don’t think they’re really called nubs so hopefully you know what I’m talking about LOL)

Good solid keys and they arrived within 3 or 4 days by post which was pretty good even though they were 3 suburbs away. Click and collect would have been so much easier.

Used once, The inside ends of the keys are hard to dry out and rust a considerable amount over night.

Basic tool that can operate the spigots in our townhouse complex. I am not a prepper who needs an extravagant 128-way key to open any Silcock valves I encounter in a post-apocalyptic world. I am just trying to water our plants and occasionally hose down the porch, and this tool does the job at a good price.
