This is one of the only (if not THE only) brand of actual charcoal tablets you can still get. All the others come in capsule form which I don't like at all. If you have sore throat, you can get rid of it or help it a lot by sucking on these and the charcoal will absorb the bacteria and help get rid of the infection and make you feel better. Also, they really help with gas and bloating if you have eaten something bad or think you have food poisoning.

I love these charcoal pills. When I don't feel quite right in my stomach I take them. They help me every single time. Recently I must have ate some food that wasn't quite right... I started to feel sick... I started chewing them. 4 at a time with water. I'd wait a minute or 2 & repeat until it started easing up & then in not too long I was fine. I always keep these on hand. I keep one in my purse & one on nightstand. Oh, my friend had stomach acid issues after drinking coffee, I gave them some & it eased right up for them. Good stuff!

I had a really hard time finding tablets rather than capsules as I have noticed tablets are much more effective. These were great. They are easy to swallow because they are not very big tablets. They are also some what sweet so the taste is not unpleasant. I did notice some left over grit in my mouth after consuming the tablet but I did not mind it, just drank more water. I prefer the tablet form because it settles the stomach quite quickly. Overall I would buy this brand again.

These are great! So glad to find the chewable charcoal tablets again! They came from Ireland a pharmacy there and I was totally charmed by that. Thank you so much for these helpful charcoal tabs. ---- Next order: Still my "go to" if any stomach distress. For me they settle things almost instantly. I try not to use often or with supplements so they don't interfere with absorption. But if something does not agree - charcoal comforts digestive issues or even over eating.

I have IBS and after lunch most usually, at work, feel the terrible effects of trapped wind that somehow will not shake loose despite drinking water, moving around and attempting to go to the loo. These charcoal tablets have really helped me though, and eased a lot of the pain and bloatedness. They are entirely natural, taste quite nice too but leave your mouth black bright! Superb! Different people will need different doses. I take one in the morning and one or two at lunch with a meal so it works as you digest a main meal. For the cost they are well worth it and I have just purchased a 250 pack which again is very reasonably priced.

I bought it some time ago as I am familiar with activated charcoal since childhood. My mom used to treat all tummy aches with it so we always had it in first aid box. I am not using it on a daily basis, only when I have problems with my tummy. We had birthday party recently and we ate so much food my tummy started to hurt and I started to feel sick. In general, Activated charcoal is very beneficial for our health. Absolute lifesaver, great for trapped wind, stomach ache, nausea. I take it with me anytime I travel but I also use whenever I need it and it always does the job. And there’s sooo many so last a long time. I take with water so I don’t really notice any taste. And I take around 3 in a serving.

I'm not sure when to take these as it says to take these with food but I have found out that it's possible that it will absorb the nutients from what I eat, so I have been taking these about an hour between meals. That possibly why didn't work too well, there was an improvement but I was still puffing. As I was still gassy I decided to use it as a hangover prevention at a weekend. It works well for hangovers oddly but if you take to many in one go it blocks you up. I found if I took 1 every 4 hours with liquids (water, tea and coffee) I didn't get blocked. to prevent a hangover you do need to take these before you drink.
