Seems to be extremely heavy built, I’m impressed.. I’m not an engineer, but I think I would’ve moved the whole assembly so that it slides in further.. All they would’ve had to have done was drilled the hole a couple of inches closer to the ball… the box is kind of confusing it says 12,000 pound gross trailer weight, 16,000 pound gross trailer weight

Well made
We switched to these from having a pintle and a ball in each truck and switching them out. Well made; the paint will get scuffed - it's dragging a trailer. That's what it's supposed to do. You do lose a little capacity over a pintle-only hitch. But 16,000 lbs probably exceeds what your hitch receiver is rated for. So it'll do just fine for most purposes.

Just what I needed!
I'm quite pleased with this product. The 2 & 5/16" ball not only allows me to tow all of my trailers, but the ball actually works better with the worn lunette ring on my 1954 military trailer than a typical pintle does. Definitely worth a few extra bucks to have the ball in my opinion.

Solid as a rock for 10k lbs towing
I bought this to tow a 15k rated tandem trailer and 9000 lbs track loader with attachment. I grease the coupler and haven’t seen any chrome coming off as other reviewers noticed. I’ve towed about 800 miles at this point and other than expected scuffing the hitch looks great. Great value for the price. Since it was so heavy the shipping cardboard box was pretty beat up upon arrival. The hitch itself was fine, but would imagined it banged up other stuff around it on the voyage to my house. :)

Ive used and abused this hitch for a good half year now. Pulled a swather that was upwards of 12,000lbs incl trailer weight a few hundred miles over hard grades truck barely did it but the hitch held up perfect. Good to throw straps on as they cant slip off as well. Looks good too. Will probably get another for my other truck.
