These bowls look even better for real than in the picture. I chose Denby Ware because of its long-term reputation and the size appeared to be just right. Having got fed up with trying to microwave jumbo size porridge oats and milk in my bulk standard cereal bowls and having to pause the microwave when the contents were about to do an impression of Vesuvius in full lava flow, I was delighted that I can cook my breakfast porridge for the full three minutes without stopping An excellent purchase!

Great product does the job looks good at a good price

This pair of bowls are beautiful, and a good size too. The glaze is significantly individual, particularly on the inner bottom where they'd never be mistaken for a matched pair. That said these are striking and original: Clearly art not just crockery. I selected teh dsign with glaze inside and out. Other designs have a similar 'water streak' style but one side only. Other designs from the same Derbyshire potter we have for everyday use, are plain... and they don't stand out like these do. These are too good for day-to-day use, we keep them for special occasions and guests. The larger sets are now all the more interesting: RECOMMENDED
