Fits Great and Works Great
I was working on a friends truck, he had bought a used F-250 that had a 4 pin to a six pin to a seven blade adapter. When he hooded up his trailer the brakes would lock up. Buying this ford factory plug to a seven pin adapter fixed all his issues. If your truck has a rigged up hillbilly trailer harness just go ahead and replace it with this product and quit chasing your tail. your life will be so much easier and you can hop in your truck knowing everything works just as it should.

This CURT 55243 harness worked perfectly on my 2000 Ford ...
This CURT 55243 harness worked perfectly on my 2000 Ford Excursion V10 4x4 with factory tow package. Bolts for the 7 blade connector lined up perfectly with factory receiver hitch holes. Harness was about 3 inches longer which was not an issue. I took a long look at the connector pictures and wire locations prior to purchase. Very please and was completely plug and play on the Excursion.

OEM style, worked perfectly
I recently bought an older farm truck and the hitch wiring had been hacked up over the years so I bought this to replace the seven pin RV plug and it fit perfectly and matched up to the original OEM plug, couldn't be happier and now my wiring is no longer hacked up

Economical replacement for Ford Part # yc3z-13a576-ca
I used this to replace the weather beaten OEM harness on my 20 year old F-250. Ford part is discontinued and $200 if you can find it. This has the all important Ford wiring harness plug that is very hard to find otherwise. It's no lesser quality than the OEM part. I paired it with a Hopkins 40975 4 & 7 pin plug which is a more modern arrangement than the primative Ford OEM yc3z-13a576-ca plug which I never really liked very much. All of this is plug n play so no splicing necessary.

Exact Replacement
I have a Super Duty that someone "worked on" the trailer wiring. This wiring harness and plug was an exact replacement for the wiring to the inside of the bed. It has a T connector, so you can also run trailer wiring for a bumper pull without splicing wires. It could also be used for the bumper mount wiring. I didn't used the relays and fuses. Quicker, easier and cheaper than finding the OEM Ford part
