If you've never bought a crochet stitch book then this book is a fantastic place to start. Why not use the stitches to create your own projects. Crochet is so versatile you'll be amazed how quickly you'll be designing your own things. There are a lot of stitch books out there but this one is so different. It offers so many different types, designs, use of other materials that other books don't. I was really amazed by the diversity of the stitches. They are also explained in both written and chart format so either way you should be able to copy the designs. Different colours, techniques & items such as beads are used to bring so amazing different styles. Some would be brilliant for afghans (blankets) and some would be even better for garments. At the start of the book is all the information you will need to recreate the designs within the book; Equipment & Materials Essential Crochet Skills Basic Stitches Stitch Variations The instructions are clear and easy to understand. This really is a book you'll use for years to come. I often take my stitch books down whenever I feel like designing something. They give you so much inspiration. If you are new to crochet it's also a fantastic way to increase your skills. You can make a block of each and join them together to make a beautiful blanket (afghan). Great book with a wide selection of stitches. Unfortunately it took me awhile to figure out it's written in UK terms instead of US. I couldn't figure out why my stitches weren't matching the book's pictures - go figure.

This does not use American terms. There are some great stitches but I would have to rewrite everything so I will mostly likely return it

Its a nice book that's shows many types of patterns to use but the directions of how to make that stitch is a little confusing or lack of direction woukd better describe it. I do enjoy the book for ideas but woukd rather not have spent the money since I still need to go online to properly learn the stitch.

I wish it had more half step photos for beginners- but it got me to pick up crocheting again :)

A really useful book. It describes all the different crochet stitches and shows close up photos of each one, along with instructions for making them.

Il libro è bello ma le spiegazioni sono fatte malissimo, alcuni punti particolari non vengono proprio spiegati e quindi grazie a Dio C'è Internet dove ho trovato quello che non sapevo fare. Mi sorge una domanda Ma se lo avessi saputo già fare mi sarebbe servito il libro? In ogni caso ripeto Il libro è bello e ha un vasto assortimento di punti con sotto schemi e spiegazioni. Piuttosto caotica è invece la spiegazione di alcune maglie particolari altre invece non sono spiegate affatto

Que a mi mujer le ha encantado, las descripciones son excelentes, la fotografía y la calidad en general del libro. La cantidad de contenido que este libro tiene es muy buena, y para el precio es una compra casi que obvia.

I liked that the written instructions were accompanied by clear photos and colour-coded charts.
