Shea Moisture Conditioner Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil To Intensely Smooth And Nourish Hair With Shea Butter, Peppermint And Apple Cider Vinegar 13 Oz

Everyone in my household has curly hair that soaks up moisture. I bought this for myself as my hair was growing back after using chemo medication for Lupus and my hair falling out. So as it grew back, it was super dry and needed help. I use this now as a leave in and it’s helped my hair grow back longer and maintain moisture. I’ve also purchased for my niece who has waist length super thick, curly hair and it’s worked wonders. I love the Shea Moisture line of products, it doesn’t leave a nasty film in your hair and it leaves your hair soft and smells good.

My hair is long and it not damaged by color or heat - it's just really long hair, which means its old and needs some extra conditioning and TLC. I don't even use this as a conditioner - i think that is a waste of what this product is capable of. Using it as a conditioner just rinses it out of your hair before you receive any of the benefits of what is in this product that needs to be left on your hair and scalp. I have thick long hair so I use two pumps after the shower just on my scalp - I work it in against my scalp and 2 pumps is sometimes too much - a little goes a long way. And then I put in 2-4 more pumps for the rest of my hair and I comb my hair and I often times will braid my wet hair and allow it to stay like that for a day (or two) and this works great with just 1 pump in your hair the next day and the day after until you wash again. I have a wave to my hair and when I use this on my hair regularly i have spiral curls that I have never had before. Black castor oil is great for a dry itchy scalp, great for any real hair loss/damage. Shea butter is deeply conditioning and hydrating. Apple cider vinegar is also great for the scalp, great as a conditioner and shine boosting agent for your hair. The three work together best when you leave on your hair and scalp (not goops of it - use sparingly) for a few days or at least over night. I don't wash my hair every day - I have very long hair and wash it about every 3-4 days. I cut my hair three years ago after a lot of heat damage and I have since stopped using a flat iron and I do not blow out my hair - it is very healthy and I think this product makes my hair shine way more than going without it. And it's nice because everything in this product is natural - using the hair serums that make your hair shiny are great - and usually full of silicones. If you don't wash your hair every day and you use silicones for shine you will have build up that you can only get off by using sulfate shampoo - that I am allergic to... so I can't use certain products - and this is the best thing I have found to help my scalp, restore the over all health of my hair from the root, all the way down the shaft to the tip and it helps with frizz control, shine, and hydration. For the price of what you are getting I think this is an amazing deal. Also - if you don't already put some apple cider vinegar in your water as you drink it - you should. It's amazingly healthy and my skin is glowing and just add a little wedge of lemon and it's delicious - weird at first - but you start to crave and it's great for your gut health.

I love this!! The conditioner is nice, has a good consistency, and it keeps my hair soft. However, my absolute favorite part about it is the smell. It smells like something so specific from my childhood that I can’t put my finger on. I had my sister smell it and she said the same thing. It smells so so so good. It got to the end and I ended up buying a different matching shampoo and conditioner from the grocery store and haven’t reordered this yet, but I leave the bottle in my shower and try to get a little more out sometimes because it’s so good.

My hair is wavy, fine, delicate, and thin. I use the CG method and it's bumped my waves into softer curls, but with curlier hair came more tangles. Because my hair is so fine (and thin) tangles are a huge problem. Almost any process to detangle results in broken hair, split ends, etc. For the past few months I've been devoting myself to finding the best detangling option. My hair is normal porosity and not damaged by heat or color. Because it's so fine, heavy conditioners weigh it down. It's not dry and I co wash, which seems to be enough in the moisture department. So I've tried a lot of "detangle" options. some of which worked better than others, but none which removed all tangles. I even broke down and tried non CG stuff, because I was that desperate. Finally, I saw a review of Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Caster Oil. I discounted claims about it making my hair stronger or grow better, but it got rave reviews about detangling. It's certainly not the most expensive detangle option I've tried, and I use and love many other SheaMoisture products, so I figured I'd give it a try. It works great. I wet my hair thoroughly and rinse out any product I can from the day before. I put I put six to eight pumps into my bra strap length hair and finger distribute it through my hair, paying extra attention to the under/back area where I get most of my tangles. I let it sit/soak in, while I'm doing the rest of my shower. This is one time when patience pays. I seriously leave it in for at least three minutes. I then finger detangle. Move onto my Wet brush detangle, and then finish with my Tangle Teaser. This goes from the most gentle/least damaging, and works my way through to make sure I've completely detangled. Rinse out completely, and then I use one more pump and disperse it well through my hair as a leave in and style as usual. While I love how well it detangles, I was also surprise to find that it adds a bump in just the right kind of moisture to my hair. Moisture I didn't even know that my hair needed! This gives me better definition of curls and does NOT weigh my hair down. Win win! If I find that it helps my hair become stronger or grow better, I'll update my review at a future time. Right now, it does exactly what I need. Shipping was also fast and it arrived neatly packed.

Product is good, it does not leave your hair feeling greasy, however, the push down spout is impossible to get to work.

J’étais tellement surprise de l’odeur , ça sens vraiment bon. Un peu comme le lait de coco chaud sucré

ça fait plus de 2 ans que j'utilise cet après shampooing, j'en ait testé pas mal et honnêtement aucun autre ne l'égale pour l'instant. J'aime assez l'odeur (elle est spéciale donc ça dépend vraiment des gens je pense) mais de toute façon ça ne persiste pas après le shampooing. Le plus gros point positif pour moi, ayant les cheveux crépus (4c), c'est que ça les démêles comme pas possible ! Je n'ai pas besoin de peigne ou quoique ce soit sous la douche, ce produit et mes doigts suffisent largement. Ça me permet d'économiser énormément de temps le jour du shampooing and et en plus mes cheveux sont super doux après.
