Kalimba song book
I find this has been a great starter book for me. I bought a kalimba and want to be able to play it properly. where to put the book whilst reading the notes.
The book would have been better if spiral bound but I have found a way, I stand the book on my cookery book stand secure with 2 pegs and I am away. I hope this might help.

Great traditional tunes
Just what I wanted. Good explanation of how to read different types of Kalimba notation. Great old songs- haven’t played the Minstrel Boy since I had an accordion from a junk shop 60 years ago! Hours of fun!

I'm a big fan of all Thomas Balinger song books. I play several instruments and my library is stocked with any and all of Mr. Balinger's books for my instruments. This includes his books for Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer, ukulele, autoharp, tin whistle ... and now one for my brand new kalimba. As with the other books, this kalimba book provides an excellent introduction to the instrument and offers a large selection of campfire and other songs to get the new player started. The print is clear and easy to read. I only have good things to say about it. As soon as my husband presented me with a new kalimba for Christmas, I quickly checked Amazon to see if Mr. Balinger published a book for it. So thrilled that he did!

Il libro è fantastico, piuttosto facile per un'apprendista di kalimba. Molte canzoni meravigliose, alcune note, altre lo sembravano un pò meno, ma suonando la melodia ci si accorge di averle già sentite in qualche famoso film del passato. Consiglio a tutti questo ottimo manuale, è proprio ben strutturato.
