Excellent product. Beautiful & functional piece. Love the different "tools" at each end AND I use each end. One end is for measuring coffee and the other end for stirring anything that needs stirring. I also use this end for opening flip tops so don't tear my fingernails to shreds.

This is something I needed for a long time but never new someone had made it. I really like the sturdiness of this spoon. It's definitely long enough so I don't have the fight putting my hand in a jar to get the last grain or crumb. I can easily scoop it up, shake to measure 2 Tablespoons. Then I can use the other end as a stirrer. The only con: the spoon is all metal so it holds heat. If you stir something hot then want to use the scoop end again, the stirrer end will be hot. But for the many uses of this scooper, I can live this it. So happy I found it, Thank you for making it. I purchased this item at full price. This is my honest review.

Never let's the coffee down.

The long handle makes this scoop absolutely great for extracting accurate amounts of ground coffee directly from the bag. It has already saved me a considerable nuisance in not having to clean scattered grounds from the counter top --- I shake it level while still in the bag--- and I no longer have to transfer the last of the coffee to another container in order to get to it with my little plastic scoop. I prefer the 1 tablespoon size over the larger two tablespoon units, as it allows a more precise determination of the amount of coffee added, which is especially useful for smaller batch brewing. The extra motion of measuring a few more times for bigger batches is no real inconvenience. The stirrer on the handle may be of benefit for some, although when brewing in a glass coffee press one needs a plastic stirrer, so I don't personally stir with it. However, if I had a stainless press I probably would.

having the scoop and spoon in the same tool is convenient. it is long enough to reach into the coffee bag and the spoon works well in the pot to stir as well as to remove the grinds when you are ready to clean the pot.

We first used a French press almost on accident while staying at an AirBnB in Canada last year. I had been using an Aeropress for years, but had never tried an actual French press. After trying a simple glass one on that trip I realized that it was a lot easier and quicker than the Aeropress, and also gave a great result of coffee. I set to research buying a non-glass version and came upon the Frieling. We have loved using it! We use it daily, and have even brought it with us on trips (whether staying in a hotel or AirBnB) so we would always have the coffee comforts of home. Using it with the companion scoop/stirrer make consistent, quality coffee.

I didn't realize when I purchased this with my new french press how used this would be! So glad I made the purchase. It is used to measure coffee put in the press, stir stick when adding the water, and I also use it to swish the coffee grounds with water to pour them out. Well made, easy to clean. Worth every penny!

It is a simple functional design. I use it for making French Press Coffee.

Build quality is excellent, the problem I had was the advertisment is incorrect as it is stated 40ml but when measured it only holds 30ml

I can't believe how much I love this thing. It gets right to the bottom of my Starbucks bag, I no longer get my hand stuck in the bag with my tiny plastic coffee measure. It is also long enough that I never lose it. Overpriced? Yes but it makes preparing my morning coffee so much less annoying.
