Good transformer
This was a replacement for a 40 year old air conditioner control power transformer that failed (presumably due to age). This was the least expensive transformer I could find either on-line or locally of this rating so I was concerned about quality, but it has worked for a month, so it will likely last for a long time. It runs fairly cool to the touch, even when powering the load (2 small contactor coils and the t-stat compensator). From physical appearance it appears to be well constructed. I'm glad I didn't spend more money. For those that are interested in such things, it was installed using the 120V primary tap and the output voltage with no load was about 28VAC, about what I expected it to be.

Worked to replace a blown transformer in our split Ruud heat pump.
The transformer went out in our heat pump sometime during the night, and being the weekend the appliance parts stores near me were closed. So I ordered this for same day delivery, and for the price was not disappointed, the wire colors were slightly different, but I followed the diagrams on both transformers and got it reinstalled and my heat back working by the evening! Thanks Amazon, saved me a ton of money vs calling a repairman. I installed the transformer and it is currently working in our split Ruud heat pump unit. I wiil update if I have any issues with longevity.

Does the job but doesn't seem to be made nearly as well as original equipment.
I used this to replace the low voltage transformer on my circa 1993 FHP "water chilled" Heat Pump. The low voltage is used to power the thermostat, blower motor relay, compressor relay and the heat pump flow reversing valve relay. It works, and wiring was pretty simple but I wouldn't try installing this if you don't know what you are doing as you could easily fry those relays and your thermostat if you wire it incorrectly. I'm getting 27vac which is a little high but I guess that's just the low quality rearing it's ugly head (made in China like everything else these days? :-( ). This was a temporary fix anyway until I can get an OEM replacement.

Great Value!
This transformer was a good replacement for my Carrier Furnace transformer. Easy to replace although I would suggest adding some female spade connectors to the wire ends to match the male connectors in the the furnace's control section. Otherwise use wire twist nuts.

Fixed AC and Heat in my Park Model Home
I was in a pinch as my air conditioner and gas heat in my home were not working. I tested the electrical system and found the issue was they both had inoperable transformers. Both were replaced and now both are working just fine. Good price and easy install.

Failed after 25 minutes
I must have gotten a defective unit. I thought I had the problem fixed, and the unit worked fine for about 25 minutes and then the whole system shut down. "Surely it can't be the transformer again." Alas, when I ohmed the primary/120 side I got nothing. NO resistance. Secondary side was fine. The power source was clean, so I can only figure that I was unlucky and got a poorly constructed transformer. Actually, I should have spent the extra $3 to get the White - Rogers. I guess they're not all the same. (Btw: it looked kind of cheap from the outset.) Good luck!
