Galeffi, Effervescent Antacid, 8.8 oz (250g)

Okay, here's my story. I have had heartburn for 2 years straight, even using Zantac every day twice a day. I am only 27 years old and cannot believe I have this problem. It could be my back out of alignment, or the fact that I'm 30 pounds overweight and eat lots of Italian food because my family owns an Italian restaurant that has lots of gluten foods. I stick to mostly an organic diet. I have used Brioski in the past, before they went bankrupt in the US, and I would always enjoy the flavor. I forgot how great Brioski was and remembered how well it worked. Okay, so I saw Galeffi and knew it was a similar product for a better price and I went for it. If you have chronic heartburn like me and want to get rid of it instantly, those prescriptions just don't cut it. Heartburn comes back with a vengeance after the course of pills. I bought these to try them out. After the first taste of 2 tablespoons in a medium glass of water, heartburn disappears instantly. I do this a couple times a day and my heartburn is finally in control. And this products taste is definitely better than baking soda and lemon alone, and works just as good without the extreme alkalizing of the body. A body too alkaline for long periods of time is supposedly harmful, so baking soda needs moderation. That's why I'm using this now.. It's safer than synthetic pills from big pharm companies, and safer and easier to take than baking soda alone. This product does contain baking soda but is balanced with acids. Lemon flavor is similar to Brioski's flavor and I cannot tell the difference. This is my third order of Galeffi 8.82 ounce jars from Go Italy Gourmet and I am VERY impressed with their shipping time and the way they pack the jars. They were jam packed with bubble wrap and two flat rate envelopes with lots of bubble cushion to prevent breakage. I could literally throw this package of two jars across the room confidently, knowing how well it's packed. This is the first Amazon seller I have seen pay attention to proper packaging details, and I've bought hundreds of items through Amazon. The price is right, the product is superb, the shipping was fast and packaged carefully for every order I placed- I am a customer for life, thank you.

For years I kept Br*oschi lemon bicarb on hand for acid indigestion, etc but when I read they were going out of business, I looked around for a replacement ASAP. This seems to be the identical item, with a different label, and I'm tickled pink about that! I wish they'd make this FSA eligible, as Br*oschi was, but I still highly recommend it.

Cures upset and acidic stomach. Pleasant tasting and very effective. I have received relief from overeating many times.

Excellent product, but too expensive!

Old school baking soda. Great for indigestion

Galeffi Effervescent Antacid is great! It soothes heartburn and is very similar to Brioschi. The taste is lemony and is delicious. The only thing I could complain is that there is a portion of the granules that are very tiny/ almost powdery at the bottom that I don't think are usable. Other than that it is an excellent product.

Works great highly recommend I just put a small amount on my tongue to let it dissolve

It’s great to taste a nice flavor when stomach is acidic. When visiting, my Italian parents were surprised Brioschi was sold in the U.S. Many Italians in Italy use Brioschi like we use Alka Seltzer.
