Bird seed is perfect! Very little mess and the birds love it ! Will buy again

I've been feeding birds with this product for three mos. They happily empty the feeder daily. This month I ran out so I bought two small seed bags at my local grocery store as I waited for my next Amazon delivery. My birds would not touch the local brand seed -- not at all. Finally, my next Kaytee seed delivery arrived. I sat the bag on my porch, thinking I would try blending it with the untouched seed. The birds would not have it! The next day I found the Kaytee bird seed bag torn open and seeds spilled all over my porch. The local disliked seed bag remained upright and untouched. I threw it out. Apparently, my birds, squirrels and the occasional opossum are completely sold on this Kaytee seed. Full star rating based on the clear preferences of my neighborhood wildlife!

This food is great! The birds absolutely love it and there is very little waste and no mess! Love it and I’ll order it again!

I put this in my first-ever bird feeder and we hung it about 13 feet from our house. By the third day, every little yellow bird in our county was in my back yard! I quickly bought another bag, and within five days, both 20 lb bags had been devoured! We had such a gathering of different species all getting along well. They were so fun to watch, I just hope we can afford to support them in the new lifestyle they are getting accustomed to. They love this feed, and of course they make a horrible mess. Granted, the mess isn't shells and trash bits, it's food, and some of the larger birds eat it off the ground. I'm just hoping we don't attract rats & mice. ‐‐----------- Update 8/20/24 Lowering to four stars. All my tweeters tend to pick out what they like and in the process a lot of bits fall to the ground. I noticed an odd, new grass growing below the feeder and realized the corn in this mix was sprouting! I hadn't noticed it before, but now I see there is a LOT of corn in it. I think I'll try other formulas instead.

I am about to order this for the 15th time! I live in Las Vegas and unfortunately there is not alot of resources for our birds here in the winter months. This seed has been a lifesaver for my little friends in the back yard. It is a NO WASTE seed and does not have sunflower seeds in the shell! This means that there are no black seed shell droppings all over the place. Also I have noticed that there are NO sunflower plants popping up all over the place because any excess seed that drops is eaten by the birds on the ground. I use this in a tubular feeder with six feeding slots and it is perfect for the smaller birds like sparrows and finches. The larger birds in this area are unfortunately pigeons who really go to town on the seeds that spill to the ground. It is a very high quality food. I recommend that you pour the seed into a large plastic container with a lid to prevent any rodents for getting into this. I have not had a problem with bugs or rodents (or squirrels). When my feeder is empty, the birds come looking for me to feed them I go through an entire tube of food in ONE day - so be prepared for a daily bird frenzy. Using this consistently will draw birds to your yard. We really enjoy watching the fiesta at the feeder every day!

This bird seed is a little pricey, but the only one I've found that is truly no mess! Birds love it.

This seed is truly NO MESS. So pound for pound it is a very good buy. Our birds flock to it. Cowbirds, cardinals, chickadees, house finches, woodpeckers all love it.
