Initially, I wanted to buy this product so that I could have a distinguished device for listening to music apart from my phone. I would find that I would not be able to stay on track with important tasks if I was overloaded with other apps on the same device. I looked around on eBay, AliExpress, Alibaba, and Amazon and thought I would try this item out. After using this item for a month or two, I believe I was correct in purchasing this item. The build quality is what is to be expected for the price. nothing has cracked so far but it is definitely breakable and not indestructible . It is a little bit larger than a smaller iPod however, it still fits in jeans and pant pockets without issue. This item requires a wired connection for the audio. So I would recommend getting some better quality earphones for best experience. And I tried using the item with a lower quality set of ear buds and I didn’t get a good playback of my songs. If this happens to just switch out the earpieces you were using because I don’t think it would be the device itself. Downloading songs onto the device is also incredibly easy. You just need a computer and some really basic computing experience. The manual goes over how to download songs in depth. As for the battery life, and I’ve listened for eight continuous hours before it dying out. If you have a battery pack for your phone, then it should work for this device as well. Given you half the cable on hand. The cable is also pretty standard so you shouldn’t have any issues finding it. Overall, this item is extremely practical and a good budget option.

Unfortunately broke the day after the refund and return window. Within a week the screen started to peel off from the body of the music player, but still functioned. Until one day it just stopped working. It gets hot while charging which is a little nerve racking as it was my 7 year old son's. It supports a wired connection with no wireless support. I thought this would be a cheap simple music player, but this one is too cheap. Spen a little bit more and get something that won't fall apart.

I like that it's small ticks away easy when working out and the performance easy to add songs good sound can navigate the menu screen very easy

This was a Christmas present given to me. 3 yrs and 2 trips thru the washer later, it finally stopped working! It's shortcomings are apparent from other reviews. The software is REALLY annoying at first, but over time, I've gotten used to it. The battery life is nothing to brag about, but it's not terrible for it's size. Something to note: a few people said the on/off switch stopped working, but if you hold down the center button, it'll turn on and off as well. This is the method I use most of the time, even though the switch still works. It also requires a micro sd card. The product description says nothing about it being waterproof, but it survived 2 trips through the washing machine, and I didn't soak it in rice either time! That is what really impresses me, and the reason I'm purchasing another one. NO other mp3 player I've had can survive that. The water damage probably caused it to break in the end though. The buttons stopped responding half the time, and when they do respond, it 'thinks' I pressed a different button. All in all, for 16 dollars, it's a good product.

I had the Mac version of this thing back in the day and paid a lot for it. This thing was inexpensive, easy to load with music and works great. I think I'll buy my son one also. Good deal for the cost.

I bought this with not the best expectations but I needed something cheap and simple for my car. The sd slot doesn't line up right and scratched my SD card Bad enough so it wasn't readable anymore and had to buy a new one 😑 screen was broken under the glass but I tried to figure it out. Also disc error everytime I tried to use it with laptop or play anything on it. I mean this isn't even worth 2$. There's wicked better cheap ones on here than this garbage. This is worse than an ipod and we all know how horrible those are.

The MP3 player works fine, nothing fancy, but works well. Be aware that an SD card is not provided and it has no internal memory, so you can't actually add any music files until you buy a seperate SD card. This was a frustrating discovery. Once I bought a seperate card, it worked fine.
