Clarifying Lotion 2, 6.7 Ounce

Very good product

When you put it on, expect to feel some stinging sensation especially if you have popped pimples but it's not too bad. It just means it's working. When I first bought it in 2020 I started breaking out more but kept using it and it went away. I think it's about consistency and using other right products with it. I use it after I wash my face to take out excess makeup and other dirt in preparation for the rest of my skincare routine. Too bad it's kind of pricy for exfoliator but I'm still able to afford this with my budget. It's a good amount that lasts me about half a year.

Good original product received. I have been using this clarifying lotion for dry combination since 2010. It has made my face feel good and I’ve always followed the three step care routine with it, but you can use it by itself and use another moisturizer or cream of your choice. It arrived well packed And unadulterated.

I bought this about a month ago because my face had started to break out in little tiny pimples, and my face has a strong oily t-zone. I used the 3 step combo clinique system when I was 16, and since then have changed my soap and moisturizing lotion because clinique's didn't really work out for me personally. But! The clarifying lotion 2 was still the bomb and it worked like a charm. Even after 3 days of using it, my face started to clear up, and the oil feels MUCH more controlled. I am extremely happy with this stuff, it is great! Just smooth over your face with a flat cotton pad (I even cut mine in half to save on the cotton pads! You don't need much of this stuff to work). So yes, if you want to slough off the dead cells on the surface and exfoliate your face, while at the same time controlling your oil and little pimples, this is definitely what I would recommend. It is tried and true and it just works.

I am a long time user of this product. I think Clinique is a wonderful brand and worth whatever you pay for it. I definitely will buy this again and continue to do so.

Very drying. Would not recommend for dry or normal/dry skin as this product contains alcohol that can strip away natural oils. Is definitely designed for oily skin and may present better results for such. However, this product does a great job at removing makeup and if a moisturizer is used afterwards (the step 3 yellow moisturizer works great) it could be effective.

This gently exfoliates without irritating my skin. Leaves a very fresh look.

Great product and a good value. Repeat and regular purchase for me.

Die Lotion gibt ein frische Gefühl und als ob die Haut sanft gereinigt wurde. Ich verwende die Lotion 1-2 Mal im Monat wenn meine Haut besonders fettig ist. Sehr angenehmer Duft.

Have been using the product for over 15 years. Recommend for anyone that has med oily skin. I have large pores and this keeps my skin looking great. I use a little on a pure cotton pad, even after I use a makeup wipe. The dirt that comes off is incredible. I follow up with the dramatically different (yellow) cream!
