LONDON FOG Women's Plus-Size Double Breasted Peacoat with Scarf

Very pleased with this coat. I almost could size down, but this will fit in the shoulders and sleeves perfectly with a sweater on. I'm cold-natured, so I'll keep the Large. I'm 5 ft 0, 155lbs, pear-shaped with a long torso and short legs. This came to my hips. The quality of the stitching is just gorgeous and the fabric is heavy. The scarf is thin but a nice neutral color (blue and taupe but the blue is so light it's almost a grey) and was attached at the back of the collar with a T shaped plastic price tag thing (you know, the ones made of fishing line). It was easy to cut off. The only thing is, I wish this were belted at the waist, because it doesn't nip in enough and conceals my figure. But I suppose with a sweater underneath it won't matter much. There are only 2 pockets (in front at the waist), and they're very deep. Half my forearm fits in them, or my cell phone, keys, gloves, hat. This is well-made, would buy again in a heartbeat. The color is better in person than in the stock photos. I ordered the heathered grey I believe which is more of a light taupe (more of a light brown, no black in it). Good color for a blonde. Looks nice with brown boots and brown purse. There is no hood, so I need to find a good hat to match this. I believe this coat is dry clean and scarf is hand wash lay flat to dry. Good investment piece, very sturdy. I got this at an excellent twenty six bucks in summertime. Better quality than expected. I feel this is more sturdy than my London Fog trench coat. I paid a hundred bucks for that one at the mall ten years ago.

This coat looks so expensive!! I feel so fancy in it. I am 5’5” and 235 I got an extra large fits perfect! It’s warm. We just had -5 temps with -25 wind chill the coat keep me so warm. The scarf came in handy. I love everything about it.

This coat is fantastic! A great value for the amount charged. It fits perfectly with room for your layered tops. It’s not very thick but it is very warm and soft to the touch. I would highly recommend this item!!

This is a beautiful wool peacoat, the ONE I kept after ordering and trying 5 different brands. It is a lovely design and is very well made. I am a small person, 5'6", 110 lbs., and it fits me well, even with a big sweater underneath. The front of the neckline is open because of the double breasted design, so it can let cool air in, but the scarf helps take care of that. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the material is itchy, and on the back of the neck, it rubs and drives me a little crazy. I've decided to sew a piece of fleece on the collar so my neck touches the fleece, and not the jacket itself. Overall, I still really like it, even in comparison to styles and brands that were much more expensive.

Bought this for a trip to Italy in January. It kept me warm yet not too hot. It’s comfortable and pockets fit plenty. Fitted. Nice length.

Excellent coat Warm for most days except really cold ones Comfy and stylish

Perfect color of red; not bright, just plain red. I ordered both the single breasted and double breasted jackets since I wasn’t sure which one I wanted. Warmth was a factor. Both jackets were the same weight , color and sizing. Without any sweater underneath the jackets fit comfortably on the top but I’m not large breasted and I’m larger on the hip (stomach) so they both were a little snug but still able to button. I decided on the double breasted one because I usually wear it opened and I’ll still be covered up and kept warm whereas the single breasted one will expose me to the cold if I wear it open. I’m 5’8”, 163lbs and I got a size large but if I wanted to wear a bulky sweater underneath I’d go up a size but I don’t need to. The arms are nice and long for warmth. The scarf is cheap. I gave it 5 stars considering the price. There are other coats out there that are more top quality but not for the price.

London Fog has always been a reliable, high quality branch. I don't know how this company is held now, but still the quality seems consistent with the original. The seams are straight, the buttons sewn on well, and the lining is finished well. I mostly like the fit and cut of this jacket, although the sleeves were too long. I'm 5'1", and 224# usually my arms are a bit long for jackets, I got the small because some reviews said it ran large. This one needed tailoring to shorten about 2". It fits a bit snug with a sweater under it. It's well made, very warm, but a bit itchy and stiff. The scarf which came with the jacket was soft, but acrylic and may pill. I can't speak to that because I haven't worn it. I prefer brighter colors, so the muted grays, charcoal , and red were just "meh." The jacket itself is a beautiful deep red (cool palette). The disappointment about this jacket is the fabric is a fuzz, dog hair, and lint magnet. Fuzz sticks on edges of the hem, sleeves, collar and front flaps as well as is pilling along all those surfaces as well after wearing twice. It's 53% wool, 42% acrylic, and 5% "other fibers." My experience is acrylic can pill. Had I worn this jacket when I first got it, I would have returned it for this reason. Now it's too late, so I'll carry a linkt roller with me and continue to enjoy the positive aspects of the jacket.

Packed with so much care. So well made. Very roomy, runs large so if you prefer snug then size down. Excellent quality and wool and warm. Great bargain, a great colour for the holidays, part of a capsule wardrobe. Very happy with it

Beautiful jacket! Appears to be well made. Definitely warm enough for a dy of running errands, but you would certainly plan to wear something warmer if staying outside longer. The scarf is a nice touch. I love it!

I love my London fog black and white tweed coat. Would totally recommend this product.

Im an Australian sized 10/12 (depending on brand), 165cm tall and about 60kg with slightly broad shoulders and long arms (sleeves normally come up a bit short on me). I was undecided between a small and a medium based on reviews, but ended up going a medium and Im glad I did as any smaller and it would have been too tight in the shoulders. It fits over a thick jumper, and sleeves are not too short. Love the cut of the jacket- great length and I can wear it dressed up or down. Im not in love with the scarf and think it looks better without it, but its detachable so not a big deal. Pockets are functional and nice and deep. I would have given it 5*s, but the fabric of the jacket is pretty scratchy- hoping it might soften a but over time? Overall I would buy it again!
