Mung Bean Flour (Starch) in 17.6oz pack. Review: Liangfen - Exactly what I needed. Worked perfectly. High quality starch. Review: Good product - Perfect for Leum Kleun or just used as a starch. It is mung bean flour (starch) for Thai cooking. But it is more like a starch than a flour though, so you know what you are buying.

Great product
I love finding obscure things on Amazon that you canโt quite find at an every day grocery store. I made โgreen bean jelloโ out of it. Exactly like what I get from the local Szechwan restaurant.

Needs a better way to slice
I know you use a flat grater but there should be more options to cut these more even

Use it to make Laphing (Tibetan Dish)
Used to get this at the local Asian market. Since I moved apartments, I found it on Amazon and am happy with the product.

Smooth starch that works great for desserts and chewy textures
This starch mixes in cleanly and turns into that nice bouncy texture you want for Asian desserts and noodles. It dissolves without clumping, which is a blessing because I am not trying to whisk for twenty minutes like I am on a cooking show. The flavor stays neutral, so it blends into whatever you are making without hijacking the dish. The bag is big enough to last through multiple recipes, and it stores easily without turning into a powder bomb every time you open it. If you want that chewy, jelly like consistency you see in a lot of Southeast Asian treats, this stuff makes it pretty foolproof.

Used for baking
I baked some light, fluffy muffins with this flour, substituting it for half the wheat flour in the recipe.
