Thin, Functional, Durable. My Quest for a Perfect Wallet is Over!
This wallet is simply amazing. It uses the thinnest material possible, yet this material is extremely durable. I love the simplistic design. In the pictures I provided, I have about 7 or 8 bills in it and 13 cards and it is still extremely thin. Remember, your wallet can only be as thin as the thickness of all the cards you are stacking inside of it! This wallet gives you the best opportunity to keep it as thin as you possibly can while still being able to expand to hold a lot if needed. I could probably stuff at least 3 or 4 more cards in the back slots if I really needed to, but I've found that 12-13 cards is the comfortable limit. I stick two cards in each side of the front slots, and the remaining 9 cards in the back slots behind the bills. Keep your 4 "go-to" cards in the front. The way this wallet is so flexible it allows you to bend it 180 degrees backward while you are accessing your cards in front of the bills, and easily get your fingers around those cards in the front (two on each side), in order to quickly pull any of them out with no fuss (see pictures). I've been wearing this wallet in my pocket pretty much every waking hour for the past few months and it still looks brand new with no signs of wear. It seems like it is built extremely well and will last for decades (perhaps I'll post an update in 10 years, LOL). I was nervous about investing so much money into a wallet, but now that I've experienced it I'm so glad I trusted the reviews and tried it out. Since I plan to have this wallet for many many years it made sense to me to pay a little more and really have an enjoyable experience. Do yourself a favor and get this wallet. You deserve the best! UPDATE 11-7-2021 It has now been two years since I bought this wallet. Iโve used it daily and it looks practically brand new still. Iโm baffled at how resistant the material is to wear and tear even after years of use! Iโm convinced this wallet may just never wear out? Iโll check back in another few years for another report!

Updated review; Exactly what I was hoping for!
Update 12/16/15: I was contacted by the seller stating the product I received did not meet their normal standards. They offered to send a replacement wallet. The replacement wallet meets the advertised quality. The stitching is much more clean, in line and makes the wallet look like a much sleeker product. I am now much more happy to pull this out of my pocket to show off to friends and family. When full, the wallet does tend remain open (about 25 degrees) when sitting on a table. The seller recommended trimming the removable plastic liner of the wallet. I worked! the wallet lies closed!. Such a simple fix! Thank you. Over all the replacement is far superior to the original. If you are looking for a slim wallet that you can barely feel in your pocket and still holds all your stuff, This is the one. ************************************* Old review: I bought this wallet looking for a slim design and based on reviews I read online. Yes it is slim even while holding 5 cards and an ID. But at a $45 price point, the quality and finishing is not what you would find with other $25 wallets. This stitching is sloppy. It does not follow a straight line, it is not equidistant, at times doubling over. After a month of use the stitching is starting to fray and where it is knotted has a loose end hanging out. It looks especially fragile around the ID window. It looks like something I would get at a dollar store solely because of the awful stitching. The wallet feels stuffed with 5 cards and an ID. Over time the material did stretch but still stays open at a 25 degree angle when resting on the counter. It just feels a tad too small to fit everything properly, if there was just an extra 2mm of space to accommodate folding in the middle it would work just fine, but it doesnโt. probably because the stitching is done so poorly. Basically, I will use this until I find something else. I am upset at the cost, I will not give it as a gift and I certainly will not recommend it to family or friends until the workmanship and quality of the product is improved.

Best Wallet I've Ever Owned.
I purchased this wallet back in June of 2015. At the time I was looking for a slim & lightweight alternative to the many tri & bi-fold leather wallets I had owned over many years. A friend recently noticed my wallet and he seemed to like it, so I decided to order him one as a gift. This is when I realized how long Iโve had this wallet for, thanks to amazon telling me I had already purchased this item and displaying the date. So this prompted me to write a review about it. At time of ordering I couldnโt believe I had dropped $45 on a non leather wallet. I figured if the wallet wasnโt to my satisfaction, I would return it and take the few dollars in return fee. When I received it, I was happy with the weight and thickness. The stitching left a question mark though, but after 1 year and 8 months the stitching is still holding strong. Iโve had US, Canadian, Mexican & Euro currency notes in my wallet. I donโt think this wallet does well with the Euro currency in my opinion. The bills are taller and stick out/above the wallet, especially with the higher value notes. My wallet with the five cards mentioned above measures 7mm thick. I took the cards out and measured and they were 4mm thick. I didnโt measure with cash because in my case, the amount of bills in there fluctuates through the course of the day, and gets really thin by the end of the week ; ) Access to front pockets, window (id pocket), and cash are easy. Itโs also very foldable, so I find myself just inverting the fold to show my ID when asked instead of having to take the ID card out. I donโt have a set pocket where my wallet goes, it can be front, back, left or right. This wallet is so thin and light, that it has made me, for the last year and half, become a pro at patting myself down to verify I have my wallet when leaving the house or the office.

Excellent slim design! Highly improved construction material. Highly recommended minimalist wallet.
I purchased one of the original SlimFold wallets made of Tyvek. the design of the wallet was excellent. I could keep 2 ids, 2 credit cards, AAA card, Insurance card, costco card, and a fair amount of bills in the wallet and it is still very slim and able to fit in my front pocket. I could probably have fit a few more cards in there with no problem if I needed to. The issue was that the Tyvek did not hold up very well. I had the wallet for about 6 or 7 months and by the end of that time it started looking pretty abused. I was delighted to see that they had kept the same design but had found a more dependable material. The Soft Shell material feels good to the touch, slides easily in and out of my pocket and seems like it will hold up so much better than the Tyvek version. I also like the addition of the clear plastic window for the ID slot (the previous model lacked this and the upper left corner was destroyed by repeatedly removing and inserting my id) with the plastic window this should no longer be an Issue. All in all very happy with the wallet but the improvement in materials comes with an increase in price. As long as this wallet lasts me a number of years instead of months like the Tyvek version it will be well worth it.

UPDATED (after 2 years of use): Very durable wallet
ORIGINAL REVIEW: ================ Its slim as advertised. After transferring all my stuff from old wallet its still very slim. I wanted a traditional looking wallet but without the bulk. And this wallet does that job very well. Full points on that. But I still have a few gripes. 1) My biggest issue is the price. I don't understand how seller can justify a $48 price tag (RFID model). Alright this made of a durable fabric (name or type of fabric is not mentioned anywhere on the description) and is waterproof. None of that is a necessity for consumer. Other than being slim there is nothing else going for this wallet. There are other fabric (nylon) wallets available in market that are slimmer and much better designed. 2) Stitching on the wallet is not very professional. Its not straight in most parts. This gives an impression that the wallet was stitched at home. It looks like one of those DIY wallets. I expect better quality from a $48 wallet. 3) Jury is still out on the durability of the fabric. There is no mention of the name/type of fabric used on either description or slimfold website. There is nothing out there that substantiate their claim. Lets assume that their claims are correct and fabric, as they suggest, is super strong. But what about stitching? Is the thread used in stitches made from same material? Because if not, then this wallet is only as strong as the thread used in stitching. Most wallets including leather wallets die when thread holding the stitches wears out. I do not doubt the functionality of the wallet but there are plenty of good quality wallets out there that are 40-50% cheaper. If you want a consumer to pay a premium price then you need to provide them a premium product. UPDATED REVIEW (after 2 years of use): ================================ I have to admit, I was not expecting it to last that long. But I was wrong, this is a very durable product. Except for some minor scuff marks on the ID window plastic, there is no deterioration at all. Wallet still looks as good as new. Stitches are holding up pretty well, no signs of wear and tear so far. Even after constant use, Card and ID slots have not stretched out. This is also the slimmest traditional bi-fold wallet I have found so far. No leather wallet even comes close to this. I find it better than leather wallets as its easy to clean and looks new even after constant use for 2 years. Changing my rating to 4 stars. I would have given it 5 stars, but I still think that the pricing could be made a bit more reasonable, or otherwise the look and feel can be made more premium. I would definitely buy again.

Well made and holds A LOT.
One of the best wallets I've ever owned. The secret is in the material used. When I first examined it, it seemed thin and a bit flimsy, but in practice it's actually very rugged. It's also crafted very well, I've had no issues with tears or rips or anything structural. I do not go easy on this either. I'll load this up with my license, about 5-6 credit cards, a tracking device, and usually some bills and stamps, put it in my front pocket (often with my keys!) and it holds up great. You don't even know it's there. And it protects everything inside amazingly well. Of course you're not going to be able to carry every single credit card you own and a wad of bills in it; but why would you want to? You can, easily, get in it what you routinely use on a day to day basis. The waterproofing is good. I took this on a water ride this summer and although the bills got a little soggy, it wasn't horrible and it dried quickly no worse for the wear. I've tried every kind of wallet out there. I've tried phone cases that doubled as wallets, card pouches that stick on the back of a phone case, and pretty much every slim, premium and aluminum wallet out there. There are good ones but for me this may be the best of the best. And it looks pretty cool too!

Perfect Lim bifold wallet, fits 10+ cards
Perfect minimalist wallet! Incredibly slim and lightweight, fits all my cards (I carry 10) and stays slim. Coming from a leather card slot with miney clip device, and this is just as fast if not faster. Remove those optional plastic spacers in the back if you have extra cards to out there like I do. Material is water resistant, feels nice but durable, and slides into and out of pocket easily. SO GLAD there's non RFID blocking options - I never have to take my Subway card or hotel room keys out, just tP wallet And go. Thanks for making a great product in the smallest possible size! One dollar tall by 1 credit card wide.

This wallet fits the bill!
This is exactly what I have been looking for in a minimalist wallet. This is thinner than other minimalist wallets that I have tried, but without giving up anything. I carry 11 cards and some bills and it's thinner than my previous BigSkinny front-pocket money clip wallet. It does not lay totally perfectly flat and closed on the nightstand, but I don't need it to and don't understand why anyone cares about that. With what I have in it, it stays open about 2 inches from edge to edge when laying on a flat surface. I did not trim the plastic inserts that came in the wallet to make it lay flatter. I carry my wallet and just don't care what it looks like when I lay it down because I'm usually sleeping when my wallet is resting outside my pocket. Update: Just one more day of carrying and the wallet closes to less than 1 inch when laying flat on the table. If I could add more stars, I would. I wanted a wallet that is thin and unobtrusive in my front pocket and one that would not "print" or leave impression marks while wearing gabardine trousers. It also needed to carry everything I need. I travel internationally and have to carry additional insurance cards, credit cards, and multiple forms of currency. This is by far the best wallet I have found to suit my requirements. This is money well spent.

Somewhat difficult.......
......to use. Good quality material. Nice minimalist size. But the two pockets inside the wallet are difficult to use. Also for what you get I'm not sure the price is worth it.
