Really bright, sturdy and great battery
I got this set mainly for the front light as I have a rear that I like, but it is a tidy little light that's plenty bright and easy to fit. The front light is brilliant - it's really bright. I have it on the lowest setting and it's good enough to actually see by on the dark nights. If you put it on the brighter setting I would think it would be good for mountain biking. It has two flashing modes too. I really like the led to say how much charge is left - really useful to make sure you're never out of battery mid ride. I'm getting aboit 10% drop for each hour on the lowest light setting which is good for a weeks commuting. I'm not sure how quick it charges but certainly overnight is enough to get it right back up. A great bonus feature is that it can also be a USB power bank, which has already been able to charge my phone when I ran low. For the size and weight of this unit it's a powerful, long lasting light. It's a nice sleek black and looks good on my fancy road bike. The bracket seems flexible enough to fit my quite thick bar and would also fit the thinner ones. I have it mounted underneath to leave room for the other things I have, which is great.

Quality item well worth the price
As soon as it arrived the packaging immediately show the quality of this item. The casing of the light is made from decent metal , (says aircraft grade aluminium on packaging) as is the rear light. The power produced by the twin front bulbs is excellent, three settings, low, medium and high as well as a couple of flashing modes. I even use this during the daytime to help to increase my visibility to other road users, The clamp fits securely onto the handlebars and the light housing itself has a quick release locking mechanism which makes it easy to remove for security when the bike is parked. The rear light is attached with a easily removable rubber clip for security when leaving the bike parked. It is powered by 2 CR2032 batteries inside, which arrived with an insulated slip between them for transit which needs to be removed before use, and the bright light has a steady on mode as well as 2 flashing modes. Again the housing of the rear light is top quality metal. As well as being USB rechargeable batteries in the front light, the power unit acts as a power bank to help recharge your phone or other USB device if needed, a useful feature on what is obviously a well thought out and quality made product. Very pleased with this set, not a cheap plastic unit, but a really top quality and well made item which should prove to be a durable and well worth the price

Good light
I've had my light now for several months and it has performed without any problems. It is bright enough on max setting for off road riding but I would highly recommend a helmet light as well for improved sight around corners. My only gripe is regarding the mount. It holds the light fine but has a small amount of play, so the light does rattle when on bumpy terrain. I've overcome this by securing a velro strap through the mount and over the light to hold it securely. Actually I have another gripe: I'm not sure if its just my light but when i plug it into recharge it turns the light on! I've overcome this by switching the light to the second setting and THEN plugging it in. It cycles through the remaining modes to OFF and recharges as normal. Wierd but once I figured that out it's a very minor annoyance.

Brilliant features/ quality but not suitable for many bicycling scenarios re very poor battery life.
Brilliant features and quality but not safe/suitable for many bicycling scenarios due to it short duration of light output (poor battery life). BACKGROUND I used the light for 2.5 months, in winter, rain and sun, on gravel and tarmac, every day (because I cycle with lights on in the daytime too) for about 1-2 hrs per day, using an alu “gravel bike” (which is harsh….). PROs: Comes very well packaged. High amp USB micro charging cable. High quality mounting bracket. Unit is very easily removed from the mounting bracket for charging and easy to replace on the mounting – great positive sliding action. Easy to rotate in horizontal plane (“notches” are a nice touch) and can rotate vertically by rotating the mounting bracket if you didn’t make it too tight. Mine did not slip in the vertical plane yet I could rotate it vertically if needed. Two separate LED compartments. Very bright in both constant and flashing modes (lives up to lumen claims), and doesn’t significantly dim near the end of battery duration (vs shuts off, so pros and cons there). Lives up to its IP water and dust rating, which is higher than most other bicycle lights. Good rubber cover for both ports and easy enough to open for plugging in USB charging micro cable. High quality finish doesn’t scratch easily at all. Raised on-off switch easier to locate when cycling. Digital power % remaining, when charging and discharging, on top where it is easy to view. Has not got significantly looser across time nor does it rattle. I have experienced no failure of the internals – I ride 40% gravel and it has handled this no problem – it seems their claim to have bolstered the internal soldering is true. Charges up quite quickly. Cons Digital power % display is too dim – cannot see in daylight even when covering area with a glove. For some reason mine only ever read 100% once, rest of the time it still reads 90% after a days charging. Flash mode is “on – off” light only, i.e. no background constant mode with flash on top of that (only a few bicycle lights do have that, but in my view its necessary). Have inadvertently moved it in the horizontal plane when bumped into it – might be better if that was made a little stiffer. Battery: this I unfortunately what lets this light down, quite spectacularly: unfortunately there isn’t that much difference in the light’s duration between constant vs flashing mode – likely very poor power width modulation. I only get about 30mins more on flashing vs any constant mode. For both constant or flashing I only get about 2.5-3 hrs (2 rides of 1.5 hrs each) use before the light is out. In addition, once it says 30% power remaining it then hits zero very shortly after that i.e. doesn’t account well for exponential battery discharge curve, if at all. I have to charge it after every second ride or I cannot use it (as said I ride about 1.5hrs). One solution to this might be to buy two of them, but it would still be a hassle to remember you have to swop them out. I took to carrying a back-up low power LED light in case this one ran out on me, which it did and I ended up having to use the back up on several occasions. Being such a poor battery means that you really couldn’t pragmatically use the unit to charge another device, and you’d quickly have no light power left. So the manufacturer could do away with the USB port available for charging a different device and save some money towards designing the light for its primary purpose. BALANCE: Would I buy it again – No, because the light’s duration is just too short. It was fun to experiment with it given it is so cheap, and everything good about it is really very very good, but I am relegating it to the kitchen as an ad hoc torch and will pay exponentially more for a bicycle light that lasts much longer. It is probably the poor battery and battery management that is what makes this light so cheap. I probably would buy one if I was a short urban commuter to work provided that I always had an opportunity to charge it at my desk every day so that I didn’t have to worry about risking losing lighting while cycling, nor would I then need to worry about it getting stolen (so cheap to buy another…). If they sorted out the battery, battery charge remaining accuracy, and included a constant plus flash combined mode, this would be a winner (vs just about any other rechargeable light on the market) even at 2-3x the price because everything else is high quality and the 2-3x price would still be lower than many other lights. But as it stands it isn’t suitable as a bicycling light for many scenarios and when all is said and done what you need is light not darkness, hence I can only give it one star until they sort out the light’s duration and somehow still offer a highly competitive pricing (if that is indeed possible).

Super bright, well built, lasts longer. Recommend!
The first one I bought lasted about a month. Then it started to play up. Probably because it was shaking so much in its cradle whilst on the road. I then ordered another one, and asked for a replacement for the first broken one. The brightness is super-bright. 100% visibility. Very happy with that! Since, I encounter broken glass on the road now and then in the evenings. I love the fact it shows the percentage of remaining power. It helps a lot. As oppose to other lights inadequate indicators to a dying battery... And the lights are well built. Sturdy. The second and the third one I received, are more stable in its cradle, and therefore are not shaking as much when I cycle, so, I have a hope for them to last longer... 🤞 Overall, I believe that mainly bike lights that have a power bank last longer. Compare to ordinary bike lights. And the brightness is far far better on these then others I’ve tried!!! I bought other bike lights, but they either only last an hour, or the brightness is not so great. I do recommend this product. The customer service, called : “ The aftercare service” was excellent, very helpful. As soon as I reported that the light stopped working, which was also after the 28 day return policy, I received a prompt and polite apology and reply, that they would send a new one immediately. And therefore, I have no complaints about the product. Will see about the longevity still.

Bright. Needed some adjustments, but for £25.. It's Bright!
£25- Delivered.. Had the lights for a week now. Needed wrap on the bars to keep front one tight as bars are thin & swept - not a problem, also stops the paint rubbing off the bars. Slight movement between the light & mount. Fixed with packing in tiny piece of blu-tac. Now no movement. Probably not noticeable on road. I don’t expect perfection for twenty five quid delivered. If you can't wrap your bars & tweak the mount, you don't deserve this amount of light & battery life for £25. Won’t jump between modes, used in the rain, rough track pitch black. Lowest mode gives plenty of light for road use, keep it down or will wind up car drivers. Medium & full power good for seeing long distance on track. See pics for comparison – Same position same night. Cat Eye Opticube HL-EL300 4XAA battery – Great for lit streets, next to useless for real dark. Using both together, both have their advantages.. Been out every night for a week for between 15-30 min, using mix of modes & has dropped 20% from original charge. 5200mAh is powerful for such a compact unit. The packaging doesn’t give a lumen rating, but on full power, pitch black is like daylight. For £25 delivered I doubt you will find better brightness for your pound.. The included rear light is capable but not rechargeable. Using as a back up to current one for extra visibility. I’d pay that, just for just the main light, so is a bonus. If you are concerned about slight modifications, look elsewhere. If you want a massively bright, compact, rechargeable solid aluminium light, for not much money. You’ll be hard pressed to find better value. It may need a bit of tweaking, but if you have half a brain, this shouldn’t be a problem.. Excellent value BRIGHTNESS!

It is a good, but it feels loose
Now the evenings are pulling in, I got a light for my bike to see my way. The overall light is excellent, very bright, with a low, medium, and high beam, and two strobe settings. So far, the battery has been good. The downside is how it attaches to the bike. The actual clip for the handlebars is good, but where the light clips on feels loose, like there is a little movement to it. I don't go off-roading, but I feel like if I hit a big bump, it might pop out. I am keeping it, but I just wish it fitted a little better.

Failed after 20 hours use
Solid construction. Battery charges rapidly. Very bright lights with good pattern on the road but unfortunately, the front light failed after approximately 20 hours use. Rear light was fine. Both lights fitted easily and remained secure over pot-holed roads. Excellent response from Wakyme - agreed to refund within 24 hours of contacting them. I would be tempted to try this company's products again. In future, I will always carry a spare set of lights.
