A yuri tale like no other, now a New York Times manga best seller! Yuzu and Mei may be step-sisters, but that's about all the two girls have in common. Yuzu is an outgoing girly-girl who cares more about fashion than school work, while Mei is the serious student council president. Yet despite their differences, or perhaps because of them, the two girls find themselves drawn to each other... Mei has been running herself ragged trying to oversee the school, and Yuzu is worried about her. When Mei's dad comes home from a business trip, however, it looks like the cavalry has arrived. Unfortunately, his presence opens up old wounds between father and daughter, and Yuzu finds herself caught in the middle. Will Yuzu put aside her feelings for Mei to help fix this family feud? Review: A must read for fans of yuri and shoujo ai. - I first read a few volumes of this online, back when they were being released and I loved it. A week ago, when I saw a physical copy of volume 1 at a store I had to buy it. And after having read that, I've gotta say, reading a physical manga is so much better than just scrolling through pages on a screen. But I digress, I bought this one, and have 3 and 4 on the way. I love this series and have to say I'm very glad that an anime is airing! As for this, the story is good, the art is very well drawn, and the characters have such strong emotional hooks that got me invested in the series. A must read for fans of the yuri and shoujo ai genres! And I guess I should also add that my packaging was in great condition, it has a packet with bubble wrap internals and it kept the book safe without any bends or folds, so that was a plus! Review: This is NOT Citrus+ Vol 2 - This is incorrectly under Citrus+ Vol. 2 as a choice for Paperback or Kindle. The Paperback is Citrus+ Vol. 2, but the Kindle is main Citrus Vol. 2. Please correct this. As for a review of Citrus Vol. 2, this manga is one of the best yuri manga I've ever read. I was never a fan of yuri titles because it's usually gross, fanservice trash meant to target forever alone, perverted young men, and as a hetero woman, I found it quite insulting to how women were portrayed, especially towards lesbians who are already obnoxiously sexualized in society by hetero men, but this title actually HAS a story, and it's fun, romantic, angsty, and humorous. Saburouta is an amazing talent and a revolutionary as far as I'm concerned. Finally a yuri manga all walks of life can enjoy without being grossed out.

Love & Family
This has gotten better than the last volume! A ton of progress; deeper character development and relations between Yuzu and Mei. Also, we got to see the major conflict and resolve in the same book. What finally came out of it was the understanding of Mei's problems not just from Yuzu, but the readers themselves. We see exactly what we wanted out of the yuri genre. The pro to this volume is that it delivers it in both fanservice and relevant plot points. Basically, us readers can expect to receive the 'whole package'. I'm going to say this again, I love the bubbly artwork and humor in this series. The transition in style when the story gets hot is also well done. I really can't compare this to any other yuri manga series since this is the only one I've been reading, but I believe its plot has a solid structure. Lastly, if you've finished this volume you would surely be as interested as I am in what may come next. Things will go differently.

Vol. 2 Delivers as Well, Maybe Even Better than Vol. 1
Just like with Vol 1 in the Citrus series, I finished Vol. 2 in one sitting. It really leaves you wanting more. And the author (AND the translator) are excellent at conveying the complex emotions of these too step-sisters. It's really quite amazingly deeper in fewer pages than the likes of "Girlfriends" or "Strawberry Panic" could ever be. At one point I almost shed a tear myself, because I also have father issues. My hope with the 3rd Volume (is it the last one?) is that Mei and Yuzu finally work out their feelings for each other. The one thing that did leave me questioning/confused in the first volume was exactly how did Yuzu's mother meet and marry Mei's father, if he's been busy traveling all over the place? Maybe this aspect will be more thoroughly addressed in the next volume, maybe not...it's really the emotions between the two girls that interests me the most. And the illustrations are excellent as well. Volume Two has definitely met my expectations.

Rivals, Family, and attraction.
Yuzu has not been herself since the incident in the student council office and she cannot face Mei. When she gets called out by the Vice-president and asked about their relationship. It appears the VP also has a thing for Mei and will do anything to get her for herself. But Mei has been running herself ragged as her grandfather is still recovering from his accident, can Yuzu and Momkino set aside their issues and try to help Mei in her time of need? Then Mei's father returns from overseas, and Yuzu is caught in the middle of a father/daughter feud. Can she help her little sister patch things up before their family begins to crumble? This second book has a lot of character development and back story revelations, from a rival for Mei's love to seeing why Mei is the way she has become (and find out she likes bears). All the while you feel the tension between Mei and Yuzu as the two feel drawn to each other, but not understanding why and not sure as to how to move forward as they are in a tenative position of being family. Will have to wait for the next installment to see what happens next, especially with someone from Yuzu's past entering the picture.

Citrus Vol. 2
While I generally am not a big fan of stories about stepsiblings falling in love, the story in Citrus Vol. 2 continues to be interesting. I continue to like Yuzu's character and personality, which really makes the series fun. The artist can draw female characters well, even though sometimes I think they all look too much alike except for hair, eyebrows, etc.

O Amor Entre Yuzu e Mei Pode Fazer Qualquer Pessoa Amar Essa Historia.
