Used Marine-Tex on an older boat with some deep scratches on the hull...this fills like bondo and sands smooth giving a professional look, ready to paint. Also seems like a good product to fill holes on the deck where things were previously screwed or bolted. Time will tell if Marine-Tex is durable but it does appear to fill, sand, with ease and provides a professional repair result. I do wish the manufacturer or those who ship the product would check the tightness and integrity of the bottle caps before shipment...both orders received thus far have been rather loose.

Amazing product.
I have used this product on boats for years. Amazing stuff!; basically a water based epoxy that is super easy to work with. The application I have just used this Marine-tex for was to repair a chipped pottery bowl. The repair worked fantastic & proven dishwasher proof. Only negative is pricing, but ease of use makes up for it.

go to patching putty for gel coat blems.
Been using this putty for small fiberglass blemish repairs since 1966. it works great for gel coat bubbles etc. remove what gelcoat flakes that are left then clean the fiberglass underneath it. wipe with acetone. apply the putty with a putty knife. wait 24 hours. the wet sand so the surface it the same. fine wet sand the patch. its repaired.

Quick and inexpensive repair quit.
Was easy to mix and apply. Set up quickly so go sand. Worth the money. We will see how it holds up next season.

Have used this many times on boats. Works fast. Can even be used under water. Very durable.

Great repairs in a little box
I have been using this product for years. Aluminum or fiberglass boats it's the best for patching small holes or cracks. It has amazing strength and dries quickly.

Pictures worth a thousands words?
Great product and will I use it again (Hope I don't have to) to fix any issues I have on my boat. I upgraded my fish finder and the old holes had to go!!! I sanded the surface and cleaned it with acetone then applied the Marine-Tex. I then waxed the boat while I let the product cure for 3 hrs. Came back and sanded it down with 120 grit and as you can see in the pictures it came out great!!
