This is actually a great call. I read the reviews about it sounding like an out of tune duck call, and they’re right…. When I blew into it out of the box. I had to pop it open and tune the Reed and when I did, I huffed into it which made it sound like a lil fart horn. From there i adjusted the way I cupped it, and using an owl video off YouTube, I adjusted my air control to get the pitch right. The hole has to be on top with your non hold hand if that helps. Practice and have fun out there y’all.

Ok this is for everyone saying this is a duck call it is not but I could understand why people say this for the simple fact when you just blow throw it it sounds like a duck but like all calls you have to learn how to use it (there's an instruction video for it, I say disregard blowing soft into it needs more air through the call to get the right tone and make an sealed air chamber with hands). This is not the best owl sounding call either but for an 8 dollar plastic call it does the job.

I was really weary to buy after reading other reviews. As an experienced turkey hunter this is perfect for the price! I think people expect a hoot. It’s a barred owl. They don’t say “hoot”. They say “who cooks for you who cooks for you allllllll”. Just as good quality sound as a $40 call. Educate yourselves before a bad review!

Great sound and easy to use for beginners

It’s a crow call Turkey locator. Don’t be fooled. Still works but the advertising is wrong.

Takes some practice but sounds really good!
