Easier practical way
I bought this starter kit in January. I have been enjoying delicious kefir every day! I made kefir with organic coconut milk and organic whole milk and they both came out delicious specially the whole milk kefir. The starter kit really makes making kefir easy! It cuts down steps of draining to get the drains back. I add stevia for flavor and at times blend the kefir with coconut oil and add chia seeds. I recommend this starter kit for an easier, practical way to make kefir!!!

So easy and wonderful
This is so easy! It is always on my counter making more kefir. I am sending this to my family members too. My grains took two days to get into gear, but they have been going strong ever since they "woke up."

Lack of support/guidance
Lack of support is glaring The seller included a little piece of green paper in the package with two website on it. Both of these websites are not currently online or working. (I am not allowed to list the website per Amazon feedback guidelines.) This is not as turnkey as the other reviews lead one to believe. The seller should create some YouTube videos of the process both with dairy and non-dairy milk sources. I am using coconut milk and it tastes, looks, smells no different after the 24-hour fermentation than before. So how do I know for sure the product "transformed" into a probiotic. Impossible to determine. Again, just not enough guidance from seller on how to make sure you are doing this correctly and truly ending up with a probiotic product. (Assuming it works, yes it's easy to use. Assuming it works, yes it a great value for money. But until there is more specific guidance I am grading at one-star. Sorry.

"See Instruction for details" -- but none are provided!
I want to like this, but it came without instructions and without a sealed cap for the bottle. There's the red ventilated cap-with-plunger-and-basket, but: -- What is the plunger for and how are you supposed to use it? -- Is the plunger-equipped cap supposed to stay on the bottle after fermentation? If so, how do you keep your kefir from absorbing refrigerator odors? If not then what does one do with the cap-with-plunger once the kefir is made? -- Do you leave the kefir grains in the basket between batches, do the grains need refrigeration, and so on. Lots is left to the imagination. I hope the seller responds with a link to printable instructions.

Good Product with wonderful customer service.
The grains were spoiled when I received this, horrible smell and oozing all over the package. Microbiota immediately sent me a new package of grains that arrived in a couple of days. Though it was hot and the package was hot when I opened it, I immediately put the grains in cold milk, and overnight they doubled in size. I have a batch on the counter now that I believe will be perfect. Just the customer service alone makes this product a winner.

Good system and makes enough for the week.
Love the convenience and how easy it is to maintain. Kefir grains stay happy in the little basket as long as you clean them out a bit once in a while.
