Will they work for wipong down epoxied tumblers? And how do you wash and dry them?

They will work for wiping them down. They cannot be washed and dried.

Are these a one time use and then throw away

Depending on what you are cleaning I get several uses before replacing

Would there be a reason to use these over blowing off the dust with an air compressor?

In my experience, when applying a fine finish such as urethane or other clear finishes, the cleaner the surface the better the finished product. Tack cloths help knock down and remove the tiny fibers that adhere to the surface, even after cleaning with a compressor. I do both. And to see whether the tack cloth is doing anything, look at it after cleaning with the compressor and wiping it down- it will have quite a bit on it the compressor missed.
