Crossed my fingers and ordered this cable after the included charger gave out. It has been working very well. The surface pro is working again. With a good PD source and a good USB C cable, the charge rate seems to be the same as the original charger. It's nice not having to carry a brick and bring able to use a standard USB C, which Microsoft should have supported to begin with. At the price, I ordered another one to replace this one when it reaches the end of its life.

This product got some bad reviews. The challenge users face is, I believe, that the wall chargers folks are trying to use to feed this cable, do not have the necessary output voltage necessary for this cable to act as the interface to a Surface laptop. The Surface needs a 15 volt input on its charging side. You cannot use the common wall chargers that come with phones, tablets, etc. as the max output voltage is 5 volts. When they are used, the first thought of the user is that the cable does not work. It is not the cable. This product works fine, if paired with the proper wall charger.

Crapped out on my two months in. Should’ve listened to the reviews. This one worked sooooo well before. It was a little bit finicky with connecting to some usbc cables (it would disconnect slightly and you’d have to push them in together) but no biggy. Not terrible. Not durable long term, doesn’t charge my tablet anymore. The magnet charging part is ok? Maybe. I think maybe that’s what’s not working though because the tablet will slow slow slow charge with usbc. Just so bad

Works very well for my Surface Pro 7. Nice power indicator light, magnetic attachment fits & works nicely and the price is right. Be sure to have a 65W power adapter for later Surface models (GaN type are very small now!) or you’ll mistakenly think it’s not working right. I have used 2 of these for two different MS Surface tablets and very happy with them; very reliable. Just be sure the adapter is seated correctly onto your USB type C cable (but power LED on this will tell you if it is not).

This adapter works exactly as expected with my Surface Pro 9. It does display the slow charging icon, but that is no big deal for me. Given its compact size, it's a huge convenience, as it helps me avoid carrying around the normal, dedicated charger. A very useful accessory for travel!

Works perfectly with a 100 watt USB c to c cable and a 65 watt charging slot on a GaN II charging block. I got this to replace the surface pro bulky charger, but to retain the easy to use magnet on off, that way I don't have to plug and unplug my USB C port over and over and I can use a 10 plus foot cable, especially without the annoying inverter in the middle. I would have to recommend based on my experience.

Works just like the original chord - including the "light" that shows it is charging. NOTE AS THEY STATE IN THEIR ADD YOU MUST HAVE A CHARGER with enough power to charge your surface. NO a typical wall charger will NOT work to charge your Surface! You need power - get a brick! It connects fine to my USB-C cables (POWER RATED CABLES) and my power bricks. I use them to FAST charge my phones and my surface. Length is great as I don't want another 6' foot cable - I want a short adaptor cable! I have the longer one that I carry and don't need two.

Doesn't work. A very dim lite appears on this SISPHY SURFACE TO USB C CHARGING CABLE adapter when plugged-in to my Surface computer, but no charging takes place. Tried all my plug-ins and any other possibilities I could think of, but it does not work.

Preso per un amico che era stanco di avere tanti carica batteria e non aveva mail pensato ad un adattatore come questo. Il cavo in corda è buono l'attacco magnetico pure, almeno questa è la mia prima impressione. Per il tipo di articolo avrei preferito pagarlo qualcosa meno.

Works good for my Surface 3 with the 65W fast charger from the Action. This one is good with the extra little wire to give some wiggle room and extra space to attach to the charger. I'm happy.

It works for the surface pro 7.
