Al-Kafi, Volume 1 of 8: English Translation

That is a wonderful book, and it might have been even more helpful if the grading or commentry of each hadith had been included. But nonetheless it's a good book.

I bought this for a school project, so I’ve not really been able to get deep into the collection’s contents, but if you are Shi’a or interested in Shi’a beliefs, this is a great translation into English of the sayings.

The content is great and useful at a very fair price. Anyone who wants to increase their knowledge about Shiism but doesnt know arabic, this is a good source to start from. Only reason I didnt give it 5* is because it is paper cover. If it was a stronger material like cardboard which didnt stay bent after reading, it would be 5* but dont let that put you off. Definitely worth the price.

Good translation. I think this haddiths are very interesting and with a great sense of tolerance. The first two books deal about spiritual contents and the others deal with lawful deeds.

Il libro è arrivato in condizioni perfette. Non l'ho ancora letto ma da quanto ho sentito dai miei genitori è un libro che spiega come vivere la vita secondo Islam e principi morali ed etici da seguire. Sarebbe stato meglio se il venditore avesse fatto una suddivisione dei capitoli che ogni volume tratta anche se ritengo che sia meglio leggerli tutti. Mashallah

This is a beautifully translated book, very good price also. JazakAllah kheir for making these habith books accessible for English readers. The opening pages invite feedback on the translations which I also found reassuring, inshAllah it will get better and better but I am thrilled with my copy and plan to buy all 8. I think every Muslim needs a copy of the hadith and history books in their home.
