A nice “coffee table” magazine
This was a gift. It’s a nice little commemorative edition for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. It has the usual pictures and talks about the planning and gives a general timeline of events. There are also side stories of people who were present and those who received Medals of Honor. The end contains a speech of Ronald Regan, a photo of a monument on Pointe Du Hoc and of course a photo of the Normandy cemetery. Overall, if you like casual history, this is for you. If you are really into the history, you probably already know more then what is in this edition. It was a nice gift, however, I am going to donate it as I am trying to reduce my holdings.
