Shells and Spells - Mermaids, Mess Free Activity Book (Magic Water Colouring)

We have used a few of the books in this range now. They have a mix of magic painting pages and regular colouring pages, plus some interesting things to read. They are excellent for trips out or restaurants, as it is easy to bring along some crayons, and tip some water into a beaker - with the paintbrush included, the kids are then all set! The book is hardback, spiral bound and around A5 size, all of which make it very practical to take out with you. Would be equally good at home as well, and of course the water painting pages dry out and can be used again and again. Highly recommend.

Kids absolutely love these mess free painting books, and so do I. They’ve provided hours of entertainment, and are great especially when traveling.

I bought water magic book before But issues with the pen The water didn’t come out enough and difficult to paint. But this book comes with the paint blush And it’s a lot easier. My granddaughter who is 2 enjoying very much I bought “Animals “as well as this mermaids Personally I love this Mermaids one The pictures and the colours are so beautiful with many sea creatures Highly recommended!!!

Bought two for my granddaughters (2yrs apart - 4 and 6) The youngest likes to have the same as her sister and this fits the bill - water painting and ordinary colouring. Both can complete at their level.

This book far exceeded my expectations, so much so that I’ve bought more in the series. The pages come alive with just a little water and the colours are vibrant. The pages then dry back to white to be used over and over again. They keep our 3 year old granddaughter amused for hours, with no mess. Even us adults agreed these books are ‘magic’!

Nice book for a toddler to start painting

It was my second purchase this kind of item. My girls are in delight all the time. It is keep them busy so much time. The good point that the Pics dry off very quickly and you can paint them again. Thoroughly recommended !

I bought this book for my almost 2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves. She's constantly asking to paint. I love how she can wet the paintbrush, paint a picture and within 20 minutes it is dry and she can start all over again. She's put some scratches on the pages by pressing down too hard with the paintbrush but it hasn't affected the overall effect. The paper pages have started to come away from the binding due to getting wet but it's not really a big deal. The main thing is it keeps my daughter entertained for more than five minutes which is always a bonus.

Sehr zu empfehlen für kleine Kinder. Wird man mit Wasser oder am letzten Blättern kann mal Malstifte nutzen. Das Wasser trocknet sich und das Kind kann nochmal weiter malen. Es geht nicht kaputt. Die Blättern halten gut und ich finde es super für reisen, wenn man das Kind beschäftigen muss. Ich hätte es besser gefunden wenn ein Wasser Stift dabei wäre und nicht eine Pinsel aber trotzdem noch ok.

My 3 year old LOVES this book. She is constantly asking for it! The only thing I was worried about was waiting for a page to dry before she could go on to the next, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the pages dry quickly - we simply blot with a towel when she’s done painting, and then wait for the colors to fade. This is a high quality book that looks like it will last us quite some time!

Love these books - great for toddlers. Great to take when travelling or when you need an activity at home. Very good gift as well!

Meine Kleine findet es absolut super. Da der Pinsel „verkehrt „ zu geschraubt wird bekommen es die kleinen nicht ganz so leicht auf. Macht keine sauerei und das Kind hat sich eine Zeitlang damit beschäftigt. Ich finde es schön das man es immer und immer wieder verwenden kann. Würde es wieder kaufen!!
