DSTE Replacement for LP-E4N Li-ion Battery Compatible Canon EOS-1D X EOS-1D X Mark II EOS-1D Mark III EOS-1D Mark IV EOS-1Ds Mark III as LP-E19

This was more or less an expirement with a non-OEM battery. This battery charges at a decent rate, holds it's charge throughout a day of shooting, and works 100% the same as OEM Canon did. No issues with the battery percentage display or errors like some other non-factory batteries give. Will be buying a spare, and would recommend!

Took a chance on this for a 1DX MK 2 as the used on I got from Roberts would not even show up on the screen. Debated buying non OEM but it works fine with the LC-19 charger and shows info on the camera. I'll change this if it acts up but so far it works and is 1/5 the price of Canon. The price of OEM Canon LP-E19 is now $169 on Amazon so ordered one of them yesterday so I can compare the 2.

The battery worked great on my 1DXII but there was an error message when I tried to use it in my R3 and it didnt matter if I answered yes or no to the question of if its a Canon battery, it would still tell me it was shutting down.

Plug broke 2 months after purchase. Cheap. Past replacement sadly.

They fit, they charges up and they are in use.

So far this is been a great replacement battery. I Purchased this as a back up for photographing a camp for kids with cancer. It performs great. The only drawback that I have experienced is if it’s left in the camera for more than an hour, my EOS 1D Mark III stops recognizing the battery level. All I’ve had to do though is pop the battery out and put it back in. Once that’s done it recognizes it again.
