Birds love it!
This keeps away some of the problem birds and feeds the ones I like. I also like it because the resulting plants from leftover seeds are not invasive and don’t cause any issues like some seeds do. I’ve gotten this many years and it has always been fresh and good.

Great Value! The Birds Like It!
Safflower seed seems to be pricey from most outlets. I recently paid $10 for 5 pounds from one of the big stores. This Shafer safflower seed at $36 for 25 pounds is a much better deal and the birds seem to like the seed a lot. I'm using safflower seed exclusively now because I was having all my feeders overrun by many blackbirds. I heard that they don't like safflower seed and found that to be true. The first day the blackbirds threw all the safflower seed on the ground. Then after 2 days they all went away. Now the other birds can once again enjoy the food. This seed looks very good and is a nice off white color. I recommend it.

Good product, good price
Good quality seed and good value. I had been lugging 20 lb. bags from the feed store, which was inconvenient and more expensive than this product. And this is a better price. I'm very satisfied and my birds are happy. I'm happier still cuz my local raccoon hates safflower seeds.

I'm very pleased with it
This is the 3rd 25 lb bag that I have purchased. I'm very pleased with it: mostly clean and fresh seed. The birds approve too. My only criticism is the packaging. The thick paper bags are put in flimsy cardboard boxes. I'm surprised 2 of the 3 bags made it to me still in the boxes. The shipping tape on the box was sloppy; about half of the broad side of the cardboard wasn't even taped shut.

Got rid of Black Birds ,Great Quality !
Wonderful,got rid of my problem ,with all my black birds with wild bird food.Yes,it’s definitely more expensive.Though other birds have a chance to eat now ,besides all the black birds taking over ! I just have one set of red winged that will still eat this come in .This is Great Quality! It was Super Fast shipping and in Good Quality Bag ! Definitely will order again !Highly Recommend !!

Think I've purchased 4?...6? bags so far...the Bags are VERY sturdy...even UPS didn't manage to break them! And they always seem to arrive ahead of schedule! The seed seems fresh...with little or no debris... If it seems a little pricey... check the price Walmart gets for a MUCH smaller bag. Do the math... this is a deal!
