Easy to install and wire up! Work like a charm on my power bank box! Seems to be very durable and can plug chords in with ease. Socket holds them in nice a tight, no movement once plugged in to.

People have mentioned that these aren't really waterproof. That's true, but the description only claims an IP44 level of waterproofing. IP44 doesn't mean a whole lot more than "Go ahead and use them in the bathroom where it gets steamy, but they're not submersible. They should be OK if a bit of water splashes toward them once in a while, and they could even handle getting sprayed directly as long as the angle isn't too messed-up -- but for God's sake don't do something stupid like installing them in the tub or the sink-basin or whatnot, or hit them with a high-pressure water-jet. Not really recommended to be installed/used outside, uncovered, exposed to the elements". I have no doubt that they meet or exceed the IP44 rating claimed in the description. I'd like them better if the actual 3-prong outlet part could be popped out of the square frame and put back in at different angles, but I guess that would only matter for some special-purpose installations. Plus, it'd create more issues to overcome with making them even IP44-level, and it would drive the price up. All in all, they are what they claim to be -- and for what they're supposed to be, they do a good job of being just that.

As crazy as it sounds, I actually installed an outlet on my motorcycle. I have it connected to an inverter I have tucked away in the fairing. This outlet if very well constructed and appears to be very durable. The connectors are brass and are deep within the socket itself therefore they hold plugs really tight. The wire connectors on the back are not flimsy at all. They are strong. I soldered my wires to the connectors and I didn't have any melting or any issue related to the heat involved with soldering. Overall these are very high quality plugs and I would definitely recommend them.

I like the cost. And I like how small they are so they can fit in my power portable system case

This item worked perfectly for what I wanted to do I installed a separate battery system in my truck box with a 1500 watt inverter I wanted an outside outlet this item worked perfectly for that now I don't have to have the truck box open when I plug something in

Sealing gasket too hard for watertight application. Unless it's a smooth surface. Could not solder the connections on to keep from getting disconnected. It's A/C guys.

I was building my own portable power station and needed a proper AC port. This AC socket was priced well so I decided to try it. The build quality is great, connections are solid and I've used it now at least a dozen or so times and have had zero issues with it. The spring loaded door is quite strong, though not enough to damage an inserted AC cord.

Second time ordering. I love these covered plugs for my ESP-Home projects.

Easy to install.

Used for an outdoor plug on my enclosed trailer to power my pellet grill off the inverter. Only slight issue is I didn't like how the wires have to attach on the back with spade connectors. This is installed in a wall that is 1.25" this and I had to bend them to keep the wires inside the wall. I'd prefer screw terminals or a way of plugging into the side. This is just for my specific situation though.
