I was optimistic about this little tool based on the other reviews that I read, and reading other reviews of other brands of what appear to be the same tool, but still didn't want to get my hopes up too much because it is only a 3.7V tool. I'm in a drawn-out process of moving and still have a lot of my things packed and/or in storage. I needed a rotary tool, and actually have my little Dremel 7300 I use to sand my dog's nails, but didn't get very far with it before the battery died and of course the battery charger is nowhere to be found so probably packed somewhere. I looked at buying another Dremel tool (I have 3 including the 7300, they are just all in storage, so don't really need to buy another) but didn't want to spend that much. I looked at buying a charger that works with the battery for the 7300 and looked at buying a cheap corded rotary tool from Harbor Freight. I got this for about the same price as buying the charger by itself or the corded tool from Harbor Freight and thought if it didn't work for my application I would give it to my daughter for her to use on her dog's nails since several reviews mention it works well for that. The first pleasant surprise came when I opened it to find everything nicely stored in an EVA case, which I can't find mentioned anywhere in the product description. And I am more than pleased with how the tool has worked for my application. Yes, I can bog it down if I press too hard, but I could with my Dremel tool too if I tried hard enough. No real issue there as I just take it easy and it takes a few moments longer that it might have with my Dremel. I've shown a photo with it side-by-side with the Dremel 7300. It isn't drastically shorter in length, but it is much skinnier than the Dremel, which would make it easier to hold and control for someone with smaller hands like my daughter. I like that it recharges simply by plugging it in to a USB charger using the included USB-A to micro USB cable. I didn't read the instruction manual initially so didn't see that it said to fully charge it before using it. I started using it straight out of the package and it lasted for quite a while before I noticed a reduction in power so I stopped to recharge it. I didn't time how long it took to recharge, I just plugged it in overnight. After recharging I could definitely tell it had just a bit more power than during my initial use and it lasted a good long time again before I needed to stop to recharge it again. I also like that the included collet sizes mostly overlap with Dremel collet sizes so I can use some of the Dremel accessories I already have with it. In the photos, the sanding sleeve shown mounted in the tool is a Dremel sanding sleeve which is larger diameter than the sanding sleeves included with the tool. I tried the sanding sleeves included with the tool and they work fine, my work just goes faster with a larger sanding sleeve. The one little thing that I noticed while using the tool is given the size of my hand, how skinny the tool is, and the protrusion of the collet lock button, I have to consciously keep my hand off the collet lock button while I'm using the tool. The way it fits in my hand and the way that I hold it cause the button to sit on my hand where it would be really easy to press the button while the tool is in use. If the button didn't protrude so much, or there was some sort of protection around the button would've made the tool a little bit better, but I adjusted to it and used it fine without any issues. Overall I'd rate this tool as a good purchase. It isn't as powerful as a larger rotary tool but it doesn't cost nearly as much as the larger rotary tool either. It worked great for my application and I will pass it along to my daughter after I get the rest of my Dremel tools out of storage and unpacked.

Amazing little drill !! I love it so much ! I make jewelry for a living ! And this is absolutely perfect ! I had different bigger drills before more expensif and that made much more noise and honestly didnt work as well as this little one ! I really really like it ! I drilled gems and beads all the time such as tiger eye , onyx , lava rock , amethyst , turquoise , pearls etc etc and all drilled very well and fast ! It is Cordless and super practical . Love the size easy to hold and its easier for me to do precise work with it and I can carry easily to my farmers markets too . Great for jewelry making ! ( not sure about other things harder to drill but for jewelry and beads its great ) Could not be happier ! Saves me so much time ! And battery life is pretty good too ! I wish i had bought this drill years ago !

I like this tool! It took me some time to figure out how to attach the drill bits but now I have it figured out. It comes with a huge assortment of drill attachments which is a bonus. I mainly use it to drill holes in my handmade earrings and I use it to polish my handmade jewelry. I bought some cotton polishing pads on Etsy and they fit just fine even though they were advertised for the Dremel. Problem is, they fly off at high speed. They only stay on at low speed. I wish there was something included to hold pieces on. Maybe I'll look for rubber pieces at a hardware store. Also, it says not to use until the battery is completely drained. However, there is no battery level indicator, so I don't know when the battery is low. I have to continually plug it in after a few uses to avoid a complete drain. Also, there is no toggle switch for the speed. You have to cycle through speeds 1, 2, & 3, then you can turn it off. I would have liked a toggle switch instead of going through this process every time to turn it off. For those 2 reasons, it loses one star. Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase. It's much less expensive than a Dremel, it has a generous amount of attachments, and it is a powerful, handy little tool. If you don't want to indulge in the Dremel, I recommend you get this. It works great.

I wasn't really expecting much with a micro rotary tool. However, I was shockingly surprised how versatile, and comfortable this little tool is. I started to carve this owl in an old piece of Barn siding. I worked on it roughly an hour and the battery was still going. It was slowing down a little and if I pushed to hard, the the spindle would stop, (albeit, I do have heavy hands), and I didn't charge it when I got it. I just pulled it out of the package, looked it over and went for it. So I imagine on a full charge, it'll last probably 90 minutes. It comes is a very nice storage satchel, with the accessories in a nice plastic container that also fits in the satchel. I haven't counted all the sanding bands, but the tool comes with all sorts of burrs, mandrels, collets, etc. For the order l price, it's certainly going to be hard to beat this tool. The only constructive criticism I have for tool is the color. Lol. Red is my favorite color, so to KeShi, MAKE A RED ONE😊❤️ Great little tool. You won't be disappointed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I got this for $10 in April of 2021 and I have beat this thing to heck. I have used it on plastic, wood, and even a little bit of metal. I mostly use it to carve wood. Even really hard wood (idk what kind of wood but it was harder than other wood.) I like that it is so small. I can use it almost like a pen and it is light. They say to not use it until the battery runs out but don't say how to tell it's close to out. It will get slower and weaker. It does get hot if used for a long time on hard stuff and it will get warm when charging so don't use it for a long time while charging. I did recently get a different one. I noticed this one doesn't hold a charge as long as it used to, but I still use it and will continue to use it for as long as it lasts. It does get stuck if I'm really going in on the wood. I'm honestly shocked the motor hasn't burned out yet. You can get a rotary tool for less than $15 so I probably wouldn't pay the $23ish dollars they are charging for it now. Use eye protection while using it along with breathing protection while sanding. I know from experience you need it.

Not sure why i am reviewing this tool as it is clearly near the end of its life (EOL) ... i bought it at $15 new -- Which is less than what it was introduced as ($3 off lightening. $2 off coupon) i almost did not buy it as no one said its battery was replaceable ... Indeed it is NOT ... Thus when the battery wears down it becomes #TechnoJunk consigned to our overflowing Landfills, sigh. Most LiONs have a lifetime of ~2y's til they no longer hold sufficient charge. Battery makers are the Meta of Planned Obsolescence ... Be SURE batteries are REPLACEABLE in whatever you buy! Fortunately this item IS disassemble-able! The OTHER side (not shown in their ad) has 6 Phillip screws -- see an attached photo. So there may be a plausible DIY route to replacing the battery. If this item is still rockin when i resort to opening it i will edit this missive to help the DIY rebels out there. Speaking of DIY, the item is rather anemic ... Possibly upping the voltage through the motor would help. Two LiON's in series might be two much for the two tiny motor though:-(( If'n they shtick around and a solid DIY community builds around them maybe a voltage booster circuit ... or a replacement motor with more serious chops. Or maybe 5v through a wired "PD" cord? DIY possibilities are unlimited! Now the case... it is really nice they thought to include one, and it IS really nice... except it was clearly NOT made for this device, too too generic and badly shaped for this device. i have attached photos of how i, successfully, adapted this case for Keshi Rotary Tool use. First there is no way of fitting the tool AND the plastic Accessory box in the case simultaneously. i suggest either: 1) Putting the accessories in small plastic bags. The sorting involved will speed their use ... the box has NO option to allow placement or sorting anyhow or 2) Put the bags in the plastic case and attach them to the Zip tab! It will make the opening etc of the zipped case quick and easy ...But wait. HOW do you attach?? There is no hole even, for such an attachment. What good is that Tab? Too small and slippery to be useful as a tab, and not made for attaching. Yuck. Well one of my first uses for this device was to put that missing hole IN! After all, Less is More! So i drilled a hole on the distal end and put a loop in it to attach the plastic box, eg, to the Rotary case. The combo is also handy for slinging onto various objects like your belts/skirts or purses... see photos. Oh also, even as modified above, the case is STILL too small to holt the Tool WITH a bit in it. i usually store the last used bit in a tool (reversed so it is harmless) ... as very likely it will be the bit needed for the next use. But THIS case does not ALLOW it!! WTF? So i modified the case: put a hole in it to allow the tool/bit combo to stick out a bit (see pic, lower right corner). Or attach a third item and make a Bolas! Throw it to knock some sense into those selfish technocratic illiterates who take advantage of our complacency, milking us for profit. Make them be part of the Solution!! DIY'ers rise up! Take back control of this planet before the capitalists, and their AI demon allies, take over and turn us all into couch potatoes.

this rotary tool is PERFECT. I initially made the decision to purchase this small cordless dremel to use with epoxy resin but it is such good quality that I've already used it additionally with wood craft, grinding my dogs nails(who HATES clippers - this is the first time I've done all 4 paws in one sitting!), and I will probably try pumpkin carving with this baby! The collet sizes are also perfect to hold all of the Dremel® accessories my dad already had for his dremel, which is definitely a plus knowing i can incorporate all of those tool pieces. The case is very nice plus has an even smaller case for the sanding bands, and a large pocket where I've been keeping buffing wheels. My only complaint is that it came with literally no instruction at all. There was a safety guide but nowhere did it detail changing the accessories, how you know its charged, accessory uses, collet:tool etc. Which they DO show all of that here on the Amazon page, but I just feel like having that information on paper with the package is really important. Lastly, I want to emphasize how comfortable the grip of this tool is! It's extremely lightweigh and easy to hold. As someone with arthritis that affects my wrists to my fingertips I simply can't sand/buff/etc by hand, not to mention get the precision and detail this tool allows! I'm able to prioritize my comfort to still do the things I love.

I've been using this instead of my Dremel tool. I'm a plastic modeler and build dioramas out of wood and this tool is excellent for the work I'm doing. Admittedly I use mostly the round file for making fixtures and grooves I need for roof supports. I charged it once I got it and it still is running from the first charge. I have been able to use my Dremel bits with this device and it is handy. I'm planning on using the fine point file on my plastic figures to open up sleeves and trouser hems. This tool is almost like using a pencil to work on the bits I've been working on since I got it. I made a temporary duplicating fixture to make parts and I used the Dremel tool cut off wheel arbor to cut out the roof vent section on this roof. The bad layout is my fault I'll have to correct. I also used this tool to cut the grooves for the corrugated roof supports. My first attempt and eyeballed it so not as straight as I would have liked but the tool worked like a charm. I figure I'll be using this more than the Dremel tool simply because it is easy to manipulate and has all the power I need to cut plastic and balsa wood. I'd say if you need a light-duty rotary tool then this is a good start. I got some extra dental drill bits to do really fine detail things on my 1/35th scale plastic figures. I use this mostly on the second step of power and for me, it works well.

Nice and compact tool with everything you need to get started. Extra collets also allows you to use a standard dremel attachment.

An excellent second option to my dremmel, and much cheaper. Super happy. Great for drilling polymer clay, resin, etc.
