Delta Faucet RP64157SS Handshower Hose, Stainless

I bought this to replace the hose from my Delta showerhead that finally wore out. It is essentially the same hose that came with my shower head Delta Faucet 75520RB Five-Spray Hand Shower, Venetian Bronze , however it is about 8-12 inches shorter. It is made of a plastic type material wrapped around an inner rubber hose, just like the original. It doesn't have the longer tip on one end, like the original does.....both tips are the same. It fits fine in the original holder, but maybe a tad bit looser. My original hose lasted several years, which I think is appropriate for a non-metallic hose. The only problem is that the description of this hose is incorrect, i.e. the dimensions are listed as being .01-inch in length. This hose is obviously longer than that.....approximately 60-64 inches. I didn't measure it, but like I said above, it's shorter than the original, which is listed at 72-inches. The length is not a problem for me or my wife and it is long enough to wash the dog. Buy with confidence.

This hose has a lot of strikes against it. First, its doesn't uncoil easily so it just bunches up in the shower and looks awful. The one that came with my Delta tub filler is fine and is CLEARLY a different product. 2nd, this is plastic, although the website says metal as others have stated. 3rd, it came fast, but came in an unmarked box that said nothing about being a Delta product. I am pretty sure this is not Delta and if it is Delta should be ashamed. 4th, I have the other hose that came with my tub filler and the "champagne bronze" in this one is a completely different color. Pretty annoying...

I originally bought a cheap non-OEM hose. That was a mistake. The brushed nickel finish looked like a matte chrome and the hex nut connector on the one end looked cheap. That house is also lighter than the Delta hose. What really drive me to just pay the extra money and get the Delta was the fact that the knockoff brand hose did not fit snug into the wand holder. The Delta fits into the Delta holder. I know, I know...Who would've thunk it? Buy once, cry once

I am attempting to replace the stainless steel hose for my Delta handheld shower head for our shower. I ordered this product as it appeared to be a good replacement stating that it was made from stainless steel. It it not. It is a replica of the original hose but is made of stiff plastic that does not appear will hang nicely like the original hose did. I returned this product and ordered another one on Amazon that hopefully meets my desire to find a hose similar to the OEM that came with the Delta hand held shower head.

Looks durable. Lack of flexibility for my requirements, so I will be returning it.

Suitable replacement. It is alot stiffer than the original. I thought it might work itself in but so far it hasn't.

The hose is made from stiff plastic with metal ends. Not very flexible. Seems pretty pricey for what you get.

It fits and works well. But the hose is black which is not what I was expecting and it is very stiff.
