Spigen Neo Hybrid Galaxy S6 Edge Case with Flexible Inner Protection and Reinforced Hard Bumper Frame for Galaxy S6 Edge 2015 - Champagne Gold

(Updated with photos 4/25/15) If you don't want to hear my story and just want to get the hard facts skip to the Pro's and Cons This is an absolutely fantastic case! I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge (128GB) on the 27th at T-Mobile, the next day I looked for cases and screen protectors for it and couldn't find many options, the options I could find I either hatted the look or they covered the edge screen. Then I came across Spigen, have never purchased from them before or even heard of them. I liked what I saw and after checking out all the cases decided on the Spigen Neo Hybrid (Gun Metal). I also needed a screen protector and decided to give the Spigen Flex screen protector a try, it's fantastic as long as you get the one that has full screen coverage and not the partial one (reason for 2 star rating). I'd also recommend watching YouTube videos on installing it first. I wrote a review for it so check that out. So back to the Neo Hybrid. I ordered it (along with the screen protector) on the 28th and got 2 day shipping not knowing when my new GS6 would arrive (T-Mobile shipped them early), I got my GS6 on the 3rd of April and started by installing my Spigen Flex screen protector (check out my review) then afterwards installed the Neo Hybrid. It was pretty easy to install the case just be sure to put the rubber part on before doing the plastic bumper piece. It fits perfectly and looks amazing! I love the textured design on the back it really helps with grip and feels good. I honestly love everything about the case! It just looks perfect! My only complaint might be that the frame is plastic and not metal (might be harder to install if it was), otherwise I can't find any complaints. So if you like the look of it, it fits perfectly and has great protection. Just the other day I was at the gym and I accidentally flung it up in the air (don't ask how, it happened to fast to recall). and it landed onto the tile floor and was perfectly fine. So drop test passed! It's also insanely thin! Hardly adds any bulk! I came from a Galaxy S4 with a Otterbox Defender and this new case is half (or less) the thickness, looks way better, cheaper, weights less and has a lot less bulk to it. Also my Otterbox Defender has deformed a lot around the edges, seems like a common issue I've seen it on all my family's Otterbox cases. This case unlike my Defender slips in and out of my pockets no problem and I don't even notice it's there. Honestly I could go on for quite a while! I love everything about this case, so all I'll do it keep praising every last thing. I'll sum it up to make it easier. Pro's Looks fantastic Perfect tight fit Great Protection (definitely passed the drop test!) Extremely slim (also thanks to the new GS6 design) Good grip Buttons are very responsive and work perfect Very comfortable to hold Doesn't interfere with using the edge screen Doesn't interfere with any functions (so far) (Wireless charging works) Easy to install and stays on secure (hard to take off) Best case on the market so far (in my opinion) Cons None except maybe that I wish the frame was metal. If you revise the frame Spigen please send me a new one! :) Other Thoughts One reviewer I noticed said the Gun Metal looks bronze/brown, after seeing that I looked at mine and if you look at it looking for that kind of color it looks slightly bronzish (it's not as grey as the Amazon photo) but I never thought that at all until he mentioned that, to me it looks dark silver. Another reviewer mentioned that the case didn't quite cover the edges around the buttons, that is true but it's barely noticeable. Unless your looking for it you won't ever notice. I own a pair of Beats Tour 2.0 ear buds (saving up for the Shure SE846!) and I wasn't sure if they'd fit in the headphone jack with the case, since they have a 90 degree angle and don't stick out far. Though after installing the case I tried them and they work perfect! Only problem you might run into is with cables that have fat/thick audio jacks. Having gone from the Otterbox defender to the Spigen Neo Hybrid I'd definitely recommend using a slimmer case like the Neo Hybrid and not getting a fat and bulky case like the Defender unless like maybe your a construction worker and need the extreme protection, otherwise the Neo Hybrid is the perfect case for the GS6 edge! That's all that comes to mind for now. I'll update if I think of anything else. I'll also try to post an update after I use the case more. An amazing case! So much better for day to day use than my Otterbox on my GS4. The Neo Hybrid is very stylish, protective, slim and easy to use. It enhances the phones usability, without the case the phone is slick and harder to grip, with the case it's easy to handle and provides a firm grip when using. The camera sticks out and with this case that's no longer a problem. The case in no way hurts the experience using the phone, it only enhances it! Absolutely phenomenal case! 5/5! The photos were shot with a regular GS6, which has the same camera as the edge.

The case feels excellent to the touch. It's got great grip but also feels very nice. It does not feel like a cheap material, it feels very dependable and is quite easy to hold onto with just a finger. Grip was an important aspect to getting this case as well as how did it feel as a texture. I didnt want it to feel gummy or soft at all and it really does not. The case looks great on the phone as well, I only wish the top and bottom lip were more pronounced and stuck out more to get more clearance when laying face down. I feel like there really is not much room for error at all. I would be very cautious on any material that might not be even, such as wood or concrete that has small rocks, etc. The clearance is just not enough. Its easy to take on and off so I dont have to worry about that when removing it to put the S6 inside the Gear VR googles. I am hoping it will fit with the case on it using the plus or s7 setting, but we shall see as I am waiting on them to arrive. the buttons feel great and work perfectly. There is a little bit of an "edge' where the hard wrap around part seems to jut out just a hair from the rubber part. This makes the phone feel like it has a sharper edge around it while holding the phone, especially to your ear. Not a deal breaker for me and lends to the "holdability" of it to me. It would have been nice if it was buffed down just a little though maybe. I went with the platinum gold version as I am tired of silver. It looks great on the white s6 and has more of a brushed copper look to it. The phone with this case feels like a solid unit and feels great in the hand. A lot of cases I have had in the past had a cheap feel to them or a soft feel to them I was not fond of. I was also worried about lint on the back from some of the photos I have seen but that has not been an issue at all. It also cleans easily enough as well. The thumb heart monitor is super easy to use and access with the case on. The protruding camera is protected and recessed in the cutout. I also bought from amazon warehouse like new condition where the wrapping was messed up only. Turned out mint and it was the case the case comes in that was a little messed up (probably from a return).

This review will be updated within the next week as I use the case. DELIVERY: I paid for the same day delivery($5) and is got here in about 5 hours. Delivery was fast and the package was hidden when I got home so it wouldn't be stolen. They messaged me saying where they left it so only I would know when I got home FEEL: The case feels study and strong without adding too much weight or thickness to it. The S6 Edge feels like a very fragile phone without a case on and it slides out of your lap very easily. With the rubber coated back and rougher surface the phone has no problems sitting in my lap or in my car center console. The fit of the case fits snug while being loose enough to come free easily for cleaning or changing. The only downside I can imagine for the fit is that it seems to be held on by only the top and bottom of the phone. It may not be a problem, but maybe with time the case will become looser enabling it to fall off. Only time will tell. FUNCTIONALITY: I am known for dropping my phones and cracking the screen. As of now my phone is in perfect condition, but who knows what the future holds. I don't feel confident enough in this case as to throw it or drop it on the ground on purpose, but I do think the case will protect it quite well. I am concerned about the screen of my phone. For example, if the phone falls face first onto the ground and hits a rock, the case won't protect it. As of now, there are currently no cases that have the protective screen like they did for the other Galaxy S phones made by OtterBox or others. I feel as though the rock would have to be bigger in order to hit the screen if you had an OtterBox case from the store. The only downside to that option is it costs close to $50. OVERALL: My first impressions on this case are pretty positive, only a few cons and a massive amount of pros. PROS: 1) The case is sturdy and feels strong 2) Slick and blends well with the phone 3) The buttons feel very responsive due to the harder plastic inside as opposed to the squishy feeling from an OtterBox. 4) The case comes passed the camera lens for added protection. 5) The case has an indent making it possible, if not easier, to line your finger up to the Infrared Scanner. 6) The holes for the speakers, charging port, and headphone port are big enough that even my biggest connectors could fit in it. I will have to be on the look out for something that doesn't fit. As of now, everything does. CONS: 1) Color options are limited and the designs for the others look like they were picked by children. 2) Even though that product was marked as new, the tape on the packaging was opened. SUMMARY: If you're looking for a cheap case that can and will protect your phone, this is the case for you.

Overall - This case is amazing. I actually like the feel of the phone BETTER with it on than without it. It makes holding the phone easier, feels like it is part of the phone and not some cheap case I just threw on. Last but not least, it looks great! I went to several stores and tried to find a case I liked. I tried EVERY case at the stores and felt like I was never going to find a case i liked. some were loose, some were hard to press the buttons, some were so sticky I couldn't get them in or out of my pocket, some were huge, some were so thin I wasn't sure what would be protected except from getting my fingerprints on it. I was able to find and try out another Spigen (tough armor) and liked the look and feel of it but was hoping for something a little thinner. Saw this one while looking at the tough armor and decided to give it a spin based on the reviews. Best decision I've made on a phone case! Pros: * Stylish and feels like it's part of the phone * Snug and doesn't feel like the phone will come out * Buttons feel like the real thing and easy to press * Easy to hold and get into and out of pockets * Offers protection on the full edge and higher than the screen which with the S6 Edge is really important Con: * It's difficult to press your finger against the heart sensor on the back of the phone with the case on. Is it possible? Yes. Is it easy? Not at all... Would I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY! Enough that another family member bought one for their S6 the same day I got mine and showed it to them. If you find it at a store, good for you....the only place I've found them are online but they are worth the wait.

I ordered the case about a week before I thought the phone would arrive. I was lucky enough to receive my phone on 4/7 and I've been using the case on it for a couple of days now. The fit is great and the design of the case compliments the phone's awesome design. The buttons work fine and no part of the harder plastic bumper touches the screen or the bezel so no concerns of scratching there. I like the slightly raised rubber bummer part that protects the screen from touching a surface when the screen is placed facing down as well as the protection offered for the camera in the back. Even with this protection the phone still seems incredible slender and the wireless charging works just fine with the case on the phone. If I had one small wish, it would be that the cutouts for the USB connection and the speaker be reversed. The cutout for the USB connection seems overly large for the connector whereas the cutout for the speaker seems overly small. I was almost concerned that it was too small or was a flaw until I received the phone and put the case on it. It doesn't impact function in any way but from a design perspective, I think it would make the bottom of the case look a little more balanced.

I love this case. I have dropped and broken my previous two phones, so with this one, I was not messing around. I did not want to get a bulky otterbox, so I was looking for something both slim and sturdy. The neo hybrid fit that criteria perfectly. It adds hardly any bulk to the phone and it still looks sleek and attractive. The case has two components, a rubbery silicone type skin kept very snugly in place with a plastic frame. There are adequate openings for all ports. I haven't had a problem plugging it in for charging, using headphones, using an auxiliary cable, or using any of the buttons covered by the case (power, volume up, volume down). I drop my phone ALL. THE. TIME. This case has kept it safe every time. Now, I initially would have given it only 4 stars because the plastic frame of the case broke. First, it broke just over the charging port. Not a big deal, as that's not a structurally important part of the frame, though a seam does run through it, weakening it. Then, it broke just over the power button. I wasn't really sure why, as it wasn't after a fall or anything, just pulled it out of my purse and it had broken. But I emailed spigen support, sent them pictures and my Amazon order number. Less than a week later, they'd sent me a replacement case! A+ customer service for spigen.

This is one of the few great cases for the galaxy S6 Edge. It is a perfect combination of looks and functionality. The Neo Hybrid is an aesthetically appealing case that does not add much bulk to the phone at all. The main body of the case is a solid matte black TPU shell, that is soft to the touch with a nice grip texture on the back that gives the case an interesting look. It doesn't really show any fingerprints, which is much better than some of the other cases I have tried and the phone itself. The bumper that surrounds the phone adds a nice finishing touch to the case and further adds to the sleek look. The case is also great functionally as it adds grip that the phone doesn't have on its own. The S6 Edge can be challenging to pick up off a table or flat surface as the metal edges are so small. This case adds just enough plastic to the edges, which makes picking up and holding onto the phone significantly easier. The main TPU body of the case also does a great job at absorbing shocks sustained from pretty large drops, preventing the phone from any damage. The lips on the top and bottom of the screen allow you to place the phone face down on a flat surface without having the screen touch at all.

Purchased this case back in April, so have had it for approximately 8 months now. Pros: Overall the case performed as expected; fits the phone well, protects it well, and the texturing on the back feels nice in the hand, and keeps the phone from sliding around while on it's back. Cons: About 3 or 4 months after I purchased the case, a small piece of the harder plastic part, just above the charging port, broke and fell off. This did not affect the rigidity of the case, so I didn't mind. At the beginning of December, the other half of that just below the charging port broke, and now the hard part of the case will not stay on the softer part, as it does not have any rigidity to it. I'm pretty disappointed that it only made it 8 months but it did well enough while it was working. I would not buy this again however, and will instead look for a sturdier case elsewhere.

After reading tons of good reviews I ordered the Spigen gunmetal Neo Hybrid case. I ordered from Spigen on Amazon. Arrived within 2 days. After opening the professional packaging I saw this beautiful case. For some reason mine came as one piece rather than 2. I popped my phone in in literally under 10 seconds.Awesome!! It fits like a glove.Easy to put on but nice snug fit. Edges remain completely visible and functional. All 3 buttons look and feel like part of the phone functioning perfectly.Buttons are raised and distinct just like the actual buttons on the phone. Camera and heart rate monitor have nicely angled holes offering good scratch protection. Front bumpers raised enough to protect glass when laid down. The look is great..Amazingly it makes a great looking phone look....well great. The outer bumper looks like metal and I actually get a better grip on what was a somewhat slippery phone. The colour complements the colour of my kinda black blue phone. Next..put on my wireless Samsung charger..perfect. I have seen comments about the higher price of this case...but considering the cost of these phones it has been worth it to recieve a handsome well built case. All in all...usual great Amazon service and a new Happy customer for Spigen.

Solid looking case keeps my phone safe and looks very sleek would recommend to anybody. The case has good grip to it so it doesn't slip off your hands which is a good thing. The buttons feel very firm and good nothing loose, The thing I like about this case is that it has a raised 1.2mm lip that keeps the screen from touching when face down. This is my 4th Spigen case that I buy and I will always buy them they are solid cases, The only con I would say about Spigen is its pricey but its worth it overall.

Firstly let me assure you that, as my review headline suggests, this will be the best £19.99 you will spend on an accessory for your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. The Spigen Neo Hybrid Bumper Style Premium Cover Case is sleek, stylish and everything you need to secure your S6 Edge. So, there are 2 parts to this case that go on your phone. Installation is straight-forward. Let me guide you through it (pics attached as well for your reference). You will receive your Spigen case assembled. Dismantle it into the 2 constituent pieces, and then mount it on your phone. 1 - Mount the rubber back bit on your phone. This part provides fantastic grip and is good insulation to avoid damage to your phone on impact. The inverse seems to have a design that aids shock absorption. You should also see the raised buttons on the side. They sit right on top of your original S6 Edge buttons and work like a charm. It also has a raised surface to facilitate protection for your camera. The S6 Edge camera is protruding and always looks a damage risk. This Spigen back cover fixes that issue. 2 - You should now have a metallic frame left with you. This is designed to protect the delicate sides of the S6 Edge which otherwise aren't very scratch or damage resistant. The frame, by the way, looks really well made. All the slots such as microUSB, headphones, reset, speakers, et al, are perfectly maintained with no real problems accessing them once the case is put on. The metallic frame should be mounted on top of the rubber frame. Just in case you are in doubt about the direction to mount the case in, note that once mounted you should be able to see 'Neo Hybrid' written on the bottom-right hand side of the frame when holding the phone sideways. Once mounted try placing the phone facing down on flat surface (pic attached). You will notice that the case doesn't hamper Edge lighting functions whilst also providing the screen protection from being in constant contact with a surface. Et voila! I reiterate - best £19.99 I have spent on my phone. I would give it 6 stars if I could with an extra star for the product also being very aesthetically pleasing.

tutti sappiamo quanto delicati possano essere i dispay edge, ma di certo non mi andava di coprire le splendide linee del telefono con quelle pesanti flip cover che fanno dei nostri smartphone dei mattoncini. in mezzo alla miriade di cover più o meno minimaliste mi sono imbattuto nella neo hybrid della spigen. che dire: partiamo dai materiali. indubbiamente si sente gia dal primo contatto che ci troviamo di fronte a materiali di alta qualità. la cover si compone di 2 parti, una più gommosa nera, mai scivolosa e molto ammortizzante , e una banda laterale in plastica più dura di colore argento. la cover risulta molto facile da inserire, e non cambia affatto il profilo dello smartphone. la banda laterale anche al tatto sembra alluminio, con il vantaggio che essendo in plastica è quasi esente da graffi . nel complesso davvero poco invasiva e sopratutto longeva. i bordi superiori leggermente rialzati negli angoli completa la funzionalità . testato con volo involontario dal tetto dell'automobile( poggiato su un auto di un amico che ha acceso ed è partito di botto) , ne il cell ne la custodia hanno subito il ben che minimo segno, nonostante fosse evidente dalla polvere sulla custodia che ha impattato proprio sul lato curvo.

携帯電話本体を買ったときに一緒に購入しました。 Spigenのケース自体は前から使ったことがあるので、ある程度期待はしていました。 ・構造 TPU本体に外装を樹脂フレームで囲むような、よくある構造です。 TPU部分とフレーム部分のスキマはほとんどなく、ぴったりです。 ・精度 スピーカーやイヤホンジャック、USB端子にカメラ部分の開口部など 気になる部分の精度は良好で、ズレは感じません。 ・薄さ 電話機もかなり薄いですが、このケースもその薄さを邪魔にしないくらい薄く ゴツくなる心配はいらないでしょう。 ・保護について 液晶両サイドが曲面構造で気になりますが、落下しても画面が地面に直撃することは 避けやすくなります。（突起物など出っ張りがあれば、当然話は別ですが…） ・惜しい点 難しいと思いますが、どうにかストラップホールを作ってほしかった。 筆者はイヤホンジャック部分、TPUと本体間でストラップをむりやり通しています。 フレーム部分に微妙な浮きが出ますが、許容範囲でしょう。 ・総評 S6 Edge購入時には、候補に入れるべきケースのひとつと考えて問題ありません。
