Claber 90766 Logica Balcony Drip Watering Kit 20 With Timer

I wanted to avoid the 1/2" with 1/4" connector line as a previously tried 1/2" system leaked excessively - I returned it to a national home improvement center explaining the product design was flawed. I did an initial double-take on the Claber 1/2" tubing - the Claber kit description did not match the image. Also, the drippers were in line and I took a chance it was not 1/2" tubing. I ordered it from Amazon. It is 65' of 1/4". The system works just fine with 20 drippers - each one can be adjusted for flow. At the time of this review it has been installed and running for four months - plants are pleased. Above all there are no leaks in the connections.

This is a very nice kit for automatic drip watering of plants. I like it so much I bought three.Described as "for plants on your balcony" but I use it in the garden.Here's what I like:- Complete kit. Timer, connectors, droppers, tubing, everything- Simple. Easy to set up.- Trouble free. New battery each spring, that's about all.- (I do protect the timer from rain. Here in New England, I take the timer inside over the winter.)Within its capacity (number of plants) this is a terrific solution.

The Claber 90766 Logica Balcony Drip Watering Kit 20 With Timer is suppose to come with 65' of 1/2" tubing to service 20 in-line drippers. It does not come with 1/2" tubing. It comes with very small (1/4") hose which is insufficient to carry enough water flow to feed 20 in-line drippers. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: "Drip kit includes: 1 each of a Balcony pre-set water timer, 3/4-inch pressure reducer, 3/4-inch Automatic adapter, 1/4-inch Threaded hose adapter and 65-feet of 1/2-inch hose; 3 each of 1/4-inch Shut-off valve, 5 each of 1/4-inch Tee, 10 each of plugs, 20 each of in-line drippers and 1/4-inch support stakes".

Every year I would get freinds and family to water our plants while on vaction durinig the summer and every year half the plants would be dead on our return.Was easy to set up and use. All plants made it through the heat wave that hit the area while away.Would recommend.

I received the balcony drip watering kit w/timer appropriate time. It was complete as far as I can see. I will not be able to use it untill summer time. I used this system last year and liked very much.
