RVLock V4 Keyless RV Door Lock, Full Metal, for Campers/5th Wheels/Trailers

I as apprehensive about buying the lock for a glass door. But I sure am glad I did. This lock is a perfect fit. You can tell just by holding it the quality is 1st class. Very easy to install, programming was a breeze. Two remotes, two keys . Oh and it comes with batteries. I promise you will love in 5 minutes. Lite key pad and sound.

Let me start off by saying this is the THIRD different brand of RV door lock I have purchased. I bought a Bauer and Lippert brands and this is BY FAR the best RV door lock I have encountered. I had issues with the other two brands failing. Now all of that being said I have just installed this so the test of time is the next step. If I have an issue I will come back and update my review. He just turned off with the word wow! When I opened up the package, I was impressed by how Sterl built this door lock was. The only plastic I think that is on it is the switch to program it and the battery cover. So I’m going to guess this is going to be very very durable. Obviously the internal electronics are typically what fails on these things so time will tell. This was very, very easy to install and to customize the programming. The other two companies could take some serious lessons from this company. I have never had a lock. Been this easy to set up and install. It comes with two key fobs and they are definitely not cheap. You can feel that they are made of metal and they are heavy. Which I guess it’s going to be heavy in your pocket, but it is very well built. Once it is set up, it is extremely easy to use with either the key fob, the keypad or the provided key. They do provide two keys and I tested them and they work perfectly. I don’t say it very often, but I am elated by this purchase. I have had so much trouble with the keypad RV door locks and I am looking forward to this being the solution.

This is a well-made, heavy duty RV door handle. It works well and meets all of my expectations. it looks nice and easy to install.

This is a perfect replacement for the factory RV Lock. This heavy durable metal and its weight allows the door to closely easily with the latch catching properly. It was simply plug, play, and program. It took about 5 minutes for me to get this done. I know some people stated in their reviews that the latch doesn't catch properly, it is best to use all components that came with the new lock which is what I did. I removed all old components and replaced with everything in the box and had 0 issues. I am very pleased with this RV Lock 🔐. The best part is the key fob which makes it seamless to unlock as you are walking to the door and lock when you are walking away it has a bout a 30 foot range which is really amazing. Our RV came from the factory with a slightly older version of this same door lock. It was an option that sounds and is very practical. No need to carry a key around. Though the lock comes with keys and two fobs, we never carry them. Using the keypad to enter and exit is much easier and saves the concern of carrying, forgetting, or losing keys. Installation is dead simple. Literally a drop-in for a standard RV door lock. Programming is also a breeze. You can select your own code or PIN so that you’re not stuck with remembering a combination that means nothing to you. This newest version has voice prompts that help with setup and tell you when the batteries are getting low. You can also change the volume level that tells you when it’s locking or unlocking. The only negative features that I’ve noticed so far is that battery life seems to be very short. Batteries supplied from the factory triggered a “low power” warning after only about two months. I’ve replaced the. With the best Lithium AA batteries available, so we’ll see how long those last. My only other gripe is that the battery compartment and battery position make changing batteries a real challenge. The batteries stack vertically and have to be held in place while you attempt to replace the battery door. Typically they pop out and fly across the room a few times before you manage to get them in and covered. I hope the manufacturer notes and improves upon this in the next version. Customer service is good BTW - as I had a problem with the previous lock I had and the factory sent out a replacement circuit board right away and I only had to pay for shipping. I saved my “old” repaired lock to use as a spare should I ever need it.

Easy to install and use! Connects great to the key fobs. Easy to change the passcode. Fit into our camper easy! Best one for the price! It’s held up in some crazy storms and no issues!

When we found out that most RV models come with a standard lock and key that can potentially be opened by other RV key owners - we immediately started researching replacements. We love our new lock system. It was easy install, only took me 15 minutes. The metal housing was important to me as I wanted a deadbolt and did not want a plastic housing unit. Its sturdy, easy to install, and simple instructions to follow. We love having the option of using a code to lock and unlock, as well as the keys and key fab. Highly recommend this product if you're looking to enhance safety and convenience.

We used this to replace a Bauer programmable lock that inconsistently worked. Number one, the Bauer did not include remotes. Often times the pen pad would not work. We purchased this new lock as it had three separate ways of redundancy to get into the trailer. Keypad, key, and remote. Plenty of options to make sure you don’t get locked out of your rig. The new lock was easy to install, fit perfectly on our RV, and only took about 20 minutes total to do. The quality fills sturdy and solid. The lock mechanism slides perfectly and fills robust. Overall, we are very impressed with this new lock. It also gives a great chime, letting you know that you’ve locked or unlocked it with the key fob. Lastly, it has an illuminated back lit numbers that makes it easy to see when lighting conditions are not optimal.

Bought this when we went seasonal, just in case campground staff needed into the camper when we weren't there. Sure enough, it happened. Saved us a 2-hour round trip. Simple to install, easy to set up. Works great, and the batteries last all season. Only complaint is that the remote buttons are a little too sensitive, and we sometimes accidentally lock the door with the keys in our pockets.

I've been looking at these for years for our 5th wheel. Glad I finally got one. It's over-priced, but it's built very well and has some features that others dont, such as the backlit numbers, and 2 remote fobs. Very easy to install and easy to program and get up and running. It's so nice not having to carry the keys around, and nice to be able to give a code to someone if they should need it.

Shipped to our door way quicker than expected. When the instructions said 10 minutes to install, that’s about the time it took. It definitely helped though watching the installation video first. It was installed on a Intech Sol Eclipse RV and it fit into the existing opening perfectly. The only negative was one of the remotes didn’t work but after taking and switching the batteries out of the two supplied remotes it turned out that one of the batteries was dead. Easy fix.

Well made. Easy to install as well as program. I bought this unit to replace a well reviewed and cheaper lock that fell apart. No regrets on the extra money spent as I received a much better lock. This has a better quality touch pad membrane and a heavier aluminum body than other locks that I have looked at. The two remotes are easy to program and use.
