It works. This is a fantastic set, certainly for those who are just starting the look but also for those who have been doing this for awhile. I look at it as a starter set though. I'll start with the HeadBlade ATX. It really does a good job. My hair grows in a number of different directions and I need something that I can easily switch around to get the closest shave. I'm able to do that with the ATX - it fits just fine right- or left-handed, and blade forward or back. The design of this, something that I call a Scalp Zamboni, keeps the razor at the correct angle with the scalp along with the appropriate pressure. It cuts very close, so much that I can go every other day with my shaves. The Slick product is also very good. A good viscosity means I didn't need a lot of it. Just a thin layer, after wetting the scalp, and I was in business. It does what a decent shave cream/gel is supposed to do, and it's easy to use. I like that it's a squeeze bottle, which makes getting just the right amount very simple. It applies easily and helps the razor glide along. Kudos also for including replacement razor heads here. This is a good touch. I'm very happy with this product. I had been trying an electric razor with sub optimal results. This gets me right where I want to go. A great product!

Love the razor and cuts awesome!! With that said I had to stop using it because I have a spot on my head that I just kept cutting. It’s like a mole or something and it doesn’t bleed much. I will probably go back and try again sometime. The reason I gave the 5stars is for the shaving cream! This stuff is great and I use it everyday on my face and head. All their products are amazing and will keep returning for more.

**Update** I've been using this product for over six months and it continues to be the best head shaver I've ever used. The blades last quite a while and stay sharp long after the first use. The head slick is an excellent shave cream that prevents nicks and cuts and razor burn. I am also active duty military overseas that was unexpectedly given orders back to the states before my last order arrived. When it was returned to Head Blade, the company contacted me asking for my address and resent it to me without another shipping charge. They also refunded a military discount to me after I placed an order. This is a great company with great products ran by four dedicated professionals. I cannot recommend this company or its products more!! While I was a little skeptical of a razor with wheels on it, I was ready to try anything that might be better than a regular razor I used on my face. The ATX head blade is absolutely the best razor I've used on my head. It was easier, faster and gave me the cleanest and closest shave my head has ever had. The wide four bladed cartridge shaved more with each pass, doesn't clog up and is easy to clean while the suspension on the ATX ensured that I didn't remove any skin! Get the kit as the head slick is an excellent shave cream and its the best deal. If you're looking for a better way to shave your head the ATX is the way to go.

This is a tough one for me to rate. The design gets 5+ stars for the ease of use in the way it is natural in the way you use it. The Head Slick is the best I have found to shave with. I am knocking it down to 4 stars since I feel the blades are sub-par at best. I really can only get about 3 shaves before the effectiveness drops way off. I have taken to using DSC with 6 blades and with careful maintenance after my shaves (4 x week), I am on the same blades going on 5 weeks. It is a bit of a bummer because using a stick handled razor is certainly not as easy, but with the savings I am getting, and the closer shave I get for a very long period of time, I can't justify the HB until they up the quality of their blades by A LOT.

First, I started shaving my head because I got tired of going to get my hair cut. My hair is thick, straight and grows pretty fast, couple that with $25+tip per cut, I was spending a lot to maintain my hair. So, I decided to just start shaving my head. Due to my hair and the amount of it, I was spending 30-45 minutes shaving my head to make sure I got everything. Once I found my groove I could do it in 20, not bad right? But I was always going with the grain too.. Enter HeadBlade, I'd researched this a few months back and finally decided to pull the trigger, plus I got same day delivery! The kit is pretty neat, I got the ATX, head slick and a pack of replacement cartridges (4). I tested the HeadBlade on my face first, to get a judge of the amount of pressure I would need to apply. On my face I shave with the grain first and go back against (thankfully I have tough skin that doesn't irritate easily). Good experience, nice and smooth.. the ATX itself takes some getting used to because its not traditional by any means, but it's not anything I'd even consider a learning curve. On to the main part! I was AMAZED with how fast I shaved my head, I shaved my ENTIRE head ( for reference my cap size is 7 & 3/8) in about 7 minutes going with the grain. I was so amazed I kept going over it to make sure. Then I decided to shave against the grain and while it took some getting used to, that only took about another 7 minutes. This product is the REAL DEAL. if you want a fast, close, precise shave, going with or against the grain, GET THIS. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND GET IT. thank me later.

J’ai mis trois étoiles car je dois avouer que je suis moyennement satisfait de ce produit. Je me rase « à l’ancienne » ( Rasoirs de sécurité ou coupe choux) et pour le crâne ce système ne m’a pas franchement convaincu : Un rasoir Mach 3 fait aussi bien le travail. Les prix sont un peu chers...

Das Set, bestehend aus Rasierer, Rasierseife und Ersatzklingen kam pünktlich. Sehr positiv möchte ich anmerken, dass die Rasur meiner Kopfhaut mit diesem Rasierer sehr schnell geht, ich bin damit schneller wie mit einem herkömmlichen Nassrasierer und das Ergebnis ist gut. Die meisten Haare sind nach einmal drüber schon weg. Was mir nicht so gut gefällt ist die doch sehr teure Rasierseife von HeadBlade. Mir riecht sie ein Tick zu unangenehm, stechend-chemisch. Sie hat eine weiß-flockige Konsistenz, fast als wäre sie zu alt und das MHD drüber. Allerdings lässt sie sich beim Gebrauch auf nasser Kopfhaut gut verteilen und ist sehr Ergiebig. Ein Stern Abzug wegen der Rasierseife, da sie mir einfach nicht gefällt und ich ein anderes Produkt verwende.
