Great little locks for luggage. For years I've used TUMI locks that are very similar in size and work well on my suitcases. The TUMI are gradually failing...the hasp falls out...so I bought these as replacements. These have the added advantage of being TSA friendly, which is an advantage for airline travel in the US. I generally use these on a variety of suitcases and duffels, so I needed a bunch (say six) all keyed alike, as I carry the key on my normal (daily) key ring so I always have the key handy. I also keep a spare key in other places like in my backpack. When I bought six (two sets of three), I thought they might be all keyed alike, since they have the same TSA number stamped on them. Afraid NOT, the two sets of three were keyed differently, so I'd have to carry two keys now...and you can't easily tell which key fits which lock. I tried to find a larger set of six being sold with common keys...but no luck. I gave my second set of three to my wife so they don't get mixed up with my first set. Otherwise, the locks worked perfectly on a recent 18-day trip to Japan. No issues with locking or opening unexpectedly. Look to be a better construction than my old TUMI locks. Highly recommended for those wanting three or less key-alike locks....and they come with lots of extra keys.

So, I ordered these locks because I came across a basically brand new, 4 wheel suitcase that was in my trash room. I acquired the suitcase, I had permission to keep it, the only problem: it had a Lewis N. Clark padlock on the zippers with no key. I couldn't open the padlock and the suitcase very obviously had something inside. I tried picking the lock to no avail, so I ordered this specific item to try and unlock the padlock with a new key. I thought I had ordered the same size as the padlock on the suitcase. I got my package 4 to 5 days later, opened the padlocks package and the keys were too big for the padlock on the suitcase. I was frustrated and sad, but having the wrong size was my own fault but I don't remember there being measurements for the lock on the website, so I guesstimated. I sat in my frustration and once again tried to pick the lock with a paperclip, while having no hope that the lock would open. After about 10 minutes, the lock opened! There was a pot and pan set, cup set, plate set, and silverware set inside. Conclusion: did not end up needing these locks, but I'm keeping them as they seem really nice and good for locking up my new suitcase if I need to, don't worry I will always have the key :)

Nice locks, good for suit cases and for airport traveling.

The locks worked great as they are the same key as a set I already have. However I found that the depth stop on the included keys was cut to deep and varied between all the keys. I would have to pull a key back out of the lock up to an 1/8” to have the teeth line up properly to turn it.

My family and I were taking a vacation and needed something to lock our bags with. These worked like a charm. There are 3 of us so this was awesome because we received 3 locks. I like the fact that it comes with double keys. They are solid and very durable. On our flight back, my boyfriend's luggage was searched and we only knew because the contents inside were a mess but they include a piece of paper stating that they opened and searched his bag. It was nice because they did not have to break the lock as it is a TSA approved padlock. I would recommend these locks for anyone looking for a mini padlock to do the trick.

I bought these in the past and they served me well. I like the fact that they're TSA applicable. My luggage was searched once and the locks were cut and a note included in my bags. However the lock was no longer usable.

These are the best luggage locks I have owned to date - they are sturdy and clearly visible to the baggage handlers and TSA security people alike. When people see these on my luggage they know I am serious about protecting my personal property. The TSA appreciate locks that they can open swiftly with their master key with no fuss and just get down to doing the inspection. Thanks Lewis N.
