This is a plain jane baker with an unassuming carrying bag, warming (or cooling) pouch, and lid. For the price it's a good choice for taking holiday offerings and while not festive, it's decent enough looking to serve from. Normally I serve from my Temptations pieces and like them a lot, but the 9x13" size has cracked and I'm afraid to use it again lest it fall apart in the oven. The other pieces have done fine, and I planned to replace this size with a new one with carrying bag but found others also had the breakage problem. I wasn't willing to pay such a high price only to have a repeat problem, so decided to go with this instead. We all know from years of use that Pyrex pieces are sturdy and reliable. I could get the baking dish alone at the grocery for $9, but wanted the lid and carrying bag too so went for this set. It will serve my needs just fine and I won't need to worry about it.

This is a miracle piece of bakeware! I made chicken wing dip and transported it across town. I live in Buffalo, NY and it gets pretty cold and snowy here...the wing dip was still piping hot when I arrived at my destination. I also made a potato salad over summer and it stayed super cold at a BBQ (summers here are hot and humid). The hot/cold pack has held up nicely. The zippered carrying case is easy to carry, and even has a slot inside which is perfect for potholders or a serving spoon; even some small paper plates would fit inside. It's a nice, thick, highly durable carrying case with a heavy-duty zipper. The lid to the pan attached securely and firmly - I've used this dish tons of times and have yet to have any leakage or spillage. I highly recommend this to anyone who serves a lot of hot or cold dishes, and especially those who have to transport those dishes!

I have been looking for a tote to carry a 9x13 pan & keep the food either hot or cold. This is perfect. I bought it right before Easter. I was going to a brunch & was taking a sausage/cheese casserole. I wanted to keep the casserole hot. The cold/hot pack is placed either in the freezer or the microwave. I placed it in the microwave for the specified time, put it in the bottom flap of the tote about 4 minutes before my casserole came out of the oven. When the casserole was done, I immediately placed the lid on top, put it in the tote & zipped it closed. The casserole stayed hot for the hour before the time we were eating. (I don't know how much longer it would have stayed hot). The tote is well made & transporting the casserole was extremely easy. I plan on purchasing another set so I can bring both a hot and a cold item to future events.

Just what I have been looking for. They must have fixed the earlier issue of the lid not fitting tightly, because it fits very well with no problems; the lid snaps on both short ends right where the holes are for the handles, and makes a nice, tight seal. I wanted to wait until I'd actually used this to write a review, and this did not disappoint. Made a casserole to take to a potluck 30+ miles from home. Heated up the gel pad in the microwave as directed, slipped it in the top of the warmer, and zipped the whole thing up. We had dinner 90 minutes later and the casserole was very warm when we sat down to eat. Wipe clean with a damp or slightly soapy dishcloth as needed and air dry. So happy to have found this set, at just under $30, I consider this a very well-made purchase.

We had been looking for a good quality insulated pyrex carrier for some time. Nothing in the stores we found met our requirements. We read the reviews on this set and have been very pleased since our purchase. The insulated carrier is the highest quality we have seen and the set includes a nice Pyrex baking dish, a snap on cover that fits really well and a hot/cold pack that you can put in either the microwave or freezer. We used it for a progressive dinner get together in our neighborhood and it worked really well. You can go cheaper, but you get cheap.

I bought this casserole dish set for use at family gatherings and parties, and I am generally impressed with it. The bag is a nice quality, the handles make for easy carrying, and it has a small compartment inside for a serving spoon or even a small potholder/hot-pad if necessary. The handles on the dish itself make it much easier to grab a hot casserole out of the oven or to transport when piping hot. The warm/cool pack has its own velcro compartment in the bottom of the bag, so it will not move around too much. On the negative side, the lid is pretty loose, so depending on what you have cooked, how full the dish is, or whether or not the dish is going to slosh around, that may be an issue (and it is why I have opted not to give this product a five star review). I have used this for keeping dishes both hot and cold. The pack does take a good while to freeze, but once frozen solid it will keep your food nice and cold for a long time. We transported cold food for a 150 mile road trip and it was just as cold, or colder perhaps, when we arrived as it was when we left. I have also used this to serve a warm casserole at a family gathering. I also had to travel to the gathering, and we waited at least two to three hours from taking the dish out of the oven to sitting for dinner. My casserole was the only dish in a thermos-style warmer, and it was the only dish that was still hot (or even warm at all) when we all sat down to eat! I should note that I used foil instead of the included lid. Despite this minor inconvenience, I am satisfied with the purchase and happy to serve food as it is intended. A couple of tips: follow the instructions carefully on heating the pack, especially if you have a high wattage microwave, and consider using foil to cover the dish if you don't want to deal with messy spills inside the bag.

Friends want to know how to get one of these. The carry case keeps food warm for several hours. Perfect for pot luck foods.

I use this often for bringing over warm dishes/baked goods for friends and family. I've received compliments about it as well! It is so much easier to carry warm or cold items using this bag. You never have to worry about any food sliding/dripping in your car or dropping the glass container.
