Heavy duty storage!
I use these to hold large canvas tents for medieval camping in the SCA, and I can't say enough about these boxes. They are extremely durable, and water-tight, and haven't had any issue with UV exposure making them brittle like so many other tubs and storage crates. The bonus with these are that they are very flat on top, and I use the 4 of them that I have as very sturdy benches in the evening. Husky and Stanley have a similar capacity trunk that has wheels, and a handle. I have tried those, and keep coming back to this style. These stack easier, and are easier to pack. This is money well spent. I actually prefer the version without a lock, since it's clear that the locking version would not keep a serious thief away.

Bomb proof - Everything should be this good.
I just bought my second one. I bought the first in 2003 (so... 18 years ago? Wow!) for a deployment to Iraq. That first one went to two wars and lives in my backyard otherwise. Now it holds all my grilling gear. The second one also lives outside and holds workout gear - jump ropes, ab mat, boxing gloves, bands, etc. Completely waterproof and withstands mid-atlantic weather with ease. I sit on it when I'm tired, stand on it to see over the fence, kick it when I'm mad, shove/drag it around when I need to clean the patio, and generally abuse it without a second thought. It doesn't care. It faithfully holds my gear, keeps everything dry and does whatever I ask of it. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Tough as nail and a good price. Good size for a load of groceries.
Love this box. I have it tied down, just behind the tailgate on my truck. Now I have a dry, wind free place to put my groceries without having to scoot between cars to stow bags behind my backward facing Access Cab door. What a pain that was. Now I can load groceries like a normal person at the back of my truck.

Overall a good outdoor storage box.
I purchased one of these about five years ago and recently purchased two more. I was surprised to find that the boxes did not have a latch or any means of keeping the top shut except gravity! Other than that they seem to be the same quality of the one I purchased in the past.

Don't waste your time....
settled on: PowerPacker 45-Gallon Truck Box/Cargo Bin...40 x 22 x 20... rugged, stackable, strong industrial plastic, lip seals the inside from the elements. I have 3 of these..they weigh about 24 pounds and have a sculpted cover...for placing cups, etc, ...that allows for stackability. and yes...I have stood on them.

Tuff Bin not so tough
If you are military and looking for a good tough box, then keep looking. The lid is already cracking. I have had it for two months. Deteriorating after one use.

High quality
Im a millwright and have lots of tools and this is great for me holds a 5 gallon bucket and still has room from top of bucket to lid. High quality and very sturdy and has two lock points that will take a short shank lock.

Best box for the money. Replacing my 15 year old one.
I wasn't sure if these were even available. Most truck boxes I looked at were several hundred dollars and many weren't as rugged as this. Mine finally broke after 15 years. I broke mine by forcing the cover a little too much backward. Even after I used it like that for 2 years. It's appropriately durable and rugged. You can probably get better but I'm not sure a better "box for your buck" exists out there.
