Good switch...12v circuit
Used this as a temporary TS switch and was easy to setup and the toggle motion is very smooth. The only caveat is it has a non-standard thread so using a "normal" locknut/thumb nut, won't fit. Use what's in the bag.

Durable over time
I purchased these as a replacement on my gas fired decorative cast iron stove. The original switch was no longer available for my model. The switch is used to activate the gas heat when switched on. The voltage passing through the switch is extremely tiny. This means that the switch must have very sensitive contacts that don't develop even a small gap or become somewhat corroded or coated from repeated use over time. I've used the switch for two years without any failure. I imagine that they would be as functional if not better for a higher and more normal voltage/amperage range.

Contacts are operated in reverse
I found out the hard way that the contacts are reversed. I should've checked continuity to figure out which contacts closed in which position but I didn't and then had fun trying to figure out why things weren't working right until I checked and discovered the reversal. So be aware of that! In a vertical position, down closes the upper contacts and vice versa. Also, be aware that this is a DPDT (double pole double throw) switch which means the two sides of contacts are separate from each other but function the same. Otherwise, good product, works as it should. I like the screw terminals, more solid connection

Double pole, double throw switch - exactly what I wanted.
Works a treat. Used for an electric solenoid valve to remotely open and shut a grey water outlet on a motor home.

Get the job done!
We had a switch burn up in a piece of equipment at our auto shop. Got some of these to replace them. Same rating, etc.. They are sturdy and have held up to daily use. It would have taken much longer to get OE switches from our tool vendor. Will buy again if the need ever arises.

good stuff
Good switches and good price. I use as a polarity reversing switch like to change direction of a 12 volt fan or Fantastic Fan for an rv. You cross the four ends with an x pattern and hook power to that cross on either side, the center goes to the appliance. So one side is forward on the fan and the other is reverse.

Happy with quality.
Nice switches for my lathe feed controllers. Operates as expected and look great on the panel.. used as 12v polarity reversing and hi/lo speed control Cannot speak on how long they will last but I have no reason to believe they won't perform well for a long time. Stay tuned!

Disposable. Shelf life two-three years. Plastic internals rot with age, no use required.
A very disposable item. The plastic rocker inside (traditionally all metal-brass) breaks easily. I'm switching bosch relays so the current draw is very low. They still break when its time to buy another timer goes off. While some reviewers lost them at 13 months mine started breaking at about 2 years, now after three years they break without ever being installed, just pluck it off the shelf and flip it a few times.
