1500 miles and a few cuts in tires but no flats
In an area with Goatheads (Tribulus terrestris)these stop flats are a must for anyone that puts more than a trip round the park once a month when the kids visit. Pedal effort will increased a few percent, and be noticeably on hills after installing them. The liners aren't all that heavy but the bike seems will seem to have lost some agility. After using them for a 100 miles you will have forgotten they are in the tires protecting you. Pain in the neck installing them in a narrow 622 bicycle rim if you have not changed a tire recently. Our bicycle group used them in the Seattle to Portland event (STP), as I did not need the performance of light weight racing tires, I wanted to finish the 206 miles without any drive train or tire incidents especially loss of air. In the group we had two flats on same bicycle tire, it was a split plastic rim liner (puncture on the inside of tube) At a check point had the rim liner replaced and we were off not losing to much time... Forgot, color coded for tire size MT

Great product, but could be better
Product is well made, I tested it by trying to poke a screw into it and it help up well. Reason for the 4 stars is that, with the road tire being so narrow, it's almost impossible to fully insult the product in all the way without it coming out. I feel it needs to come with an adhesive strip on the side that attaches to the main tire. Or supply a double sided tape to help keep the product in place between the outer and inner tires.

Reduced, but did not eliminate, flats from goathead burrs
Per the review title, using these tire liners improved our chances of avoiding flats in our stroller. Unfortunately, we went only three days before we got another flat (using sidewalks, not off-roading). We now use slime filled inner tubes + these liners and have not had a flat yet (going on 3 weeks).

Probably good for city-slickers
I bought these to protect against punctures from goatheads. I can assure you, they do not protect against goatheads. Probably good for city-slickers, though...

Not one flat in over two months!!
I bought these for my teenage son that loves to ride his bike. He rides to friends houses and to work. It was almost every week I was fixing a flat and that was with the "no flat" inner tubes as well. So did a little research and found these. Every single bike that is in this household from this point forward will have a pair of these in between the inner tubes and tires! I know they are not 100% but giving the past year track record with my kid, these are fantastic so far!

OK so far
While the picture shows just one roll the package is actually a two-pack so your order quantity should be one per bike (not two). The instructions say, "insert StopFlats2 with curved side facing down", however, it's not obvious which side is curved and which direction is "down." The manufacturer ought to use the colored stripe as a reference, since it's distinguishable from the other side. Other than the above ambiguity, the installation went smoothly. Have not had a chance to ride with them yet.

time is the best test. However
Obviously, time is the best test. However, upon installation and trial ride they appear to be a superb product. Note on installation: After placing Stop Flats inside of tire, and after placing tube back in, reach in with your fingers to re-center the Stop Flats. Upon installation of the tube, the tube tends to rub against the Stop Flats and push it out of center.

seems well built
These liners seem well built, although I had a flat about a week after I installed them.It seems hard to keep the liners centered when installing tube, therefore I think the liner was not centered properly when I hit a shard of glass it went right to the tube. There might be a secret to installing them that I don't know about.
