Great quality replacement. This bolted right on like OEM at 1/3 the price and worked wonderfully. Don't hesitate to buy it. It even came the SAME day I ordered it. Is that crazy or what? My blower (Echo ES250) works like new again. I used a movie ticket for the spacing between the coil and the flywheel magnets and it works awesome! This was the third coil I bought. I had purchased two other units elsewhere and this one finally solved my problem of a bad coil. I wish I ordered this first rather than wasting two months buying it elsewhere and those purchases failing. These all come from China anyway. I didn't even have to cut the wire to length when transfering the spark plug boot to the new part. I had to do that on the first one bought from someone else.

Where the two laminated tips are set to the magnet, on this model there is a protrusion in the plastic body between the tips that is not on the original. It prevents the tips from being properly set to the magnet on the flywheel. You can see the plastic "bump" between the tips in the picture of the item.I had to shave just a hair of that plastic off when setting it properly to the magnet on the flywheel. You worry about going through the plastic when shaving a bit off, hitting windings. I did not, but it should not be there in the first place.

I tried to buy a cheaper coil than OEM. After trying 2 coils of this brand I finally bought an Echo coil and the trimmer started easily. The other two tried to start and sometimes would pop back through the carb.

This part saved me from having to purchase another leaf blower. Exact fit and function.

Took my blower in for repair. For what they wanted to replace the coil, I could have purchased a new one. Decided to order part and attempt repair on my own. Watched YouTube video on how to replace, and an hour later, I was up and running. Much less expensive than replacing unit. I ordered new spark plug boot and wire when I ordered the coil.
